My women's group studied this guide together. Every week we worked through a different method of Bible study and then put that method into practice during the week individually. We all found this book to be a valuable resource in how we approach the study of Scripture. Highly recommended.

I went through this book as a Bible study with a group of ladies, and it was a great way for me, a fairly seasoned Christian already reading my Bible daily, to really get serious and kind of even methodical and definitely deeper and more purposed in reading it. For anyone wanting to read God's word, Rick Warren helps us understand the necessity of meeting daily with God and hearing from Him through the Living Word of God and through quiet times of devotion with Him. This study goes over six ways to study the Bible, and gives you opportunities to try it yourself, and of course through the study, review what God has been teaching you with a group, and discussion and question and answer. He talks about how you know you've learned something, opposed to just knowing something, and how we need to not only read, but immediately go and share, and put actions to our beliefs, because THAT'S when we know we're really being changed, when we start not just knowing, but obeying, and sharing.

I bought this workbook to use as a Bible study, not realising it accompanied a video series. Fortunately, I was able to find the videos on YouTube (though the last few minutes cuts off some of them). Although I've been studying the Bible for a long time, I learned something new with the study methods Warren discusses. It helped me to slow down and really get as much from a verse as possible rather than racing on and trying to do big chunks in one sitting. I'm still applying some of the lessons I learned. There are also a lot of resources in the back for further reading too. Highly recommended.

an excellent resource in different ways to make scripture and Bible study a daily part of your life and to make the Word come alive for even those of us who are already in the Word daily

Ricks methods of Bible study here are helpful and simplistic in execution, I read this in a small group with the video talks .

Highly recommend this study book for real practical ways to memorize, learn and do dive into scripture.

This is a unique devotional book, more in depth meditation technique, but you need to first read the author's Bible study method to understand more and maximize your experience with this book.

One of the best small group Bible Studies our group has done. I learned a lot, and was excited to do the studies every day of the week, which I don't often make time for. Highly recommend this for group study.
