From Broadway to Nashville

The continuing saga of the Keller family which has become intertwined with the Benson family. An old enemy of the Keller family has resurfaced, and threatens Arianna Keller. She packs up, runs home to Nashville to protect her huge family, and begins a relationship with John Forrester, a trusted friend & right hand man of Zach Benson (who we met in The Executive Decision). This series is like eating Halloween candy, you just can't stop at one piece, or in this case, book! If you love stories based on family, love, and a bit of drama, this series is for you!

Love

Arianna comes home to Tennessee from New York because she has to protect her family from Regan's ex boyfriend that almost killed her. John has been maintaining her condo and has been renting the basement apartment. The have been each other's date at weddings, but they like each other and have not admitted it. But things change and grow in this book, and a little bit of suspense.

Happy that Arianna and John got their HEA. The element of suspense was bland, but I’m glad that Hamilton finally got his due.

Another great addition to the Keller Family series! Arianna Keller is the older sister and too into her career and independence to want to get married or have children. She wants to belong to herself. Something happens in NY which makes her realize how important it is to be closer to her family so she moves home to be with them. John Forrester’s ex-wife burned him and he doesn’t have trust for any woman – he too is not looking for any commitment and is also into his work. This relationship has been three books into the making so it happens quickly. They don’t want to like each other or have feelings for each other but they do. After their first shared kiss, they realize how much they mean to each other and that there is comfort in being with each other. Both people believed that true love couldn’t happen for them but they were very wrong.

I love the family dynamic in this series. They are all so close and all they want is to protect each other. Without giving anything away, the characters in this books share an experience together that make them realize the importance of life and love and being together.

Bernadette Marie is a romantic at heart. She shows that you don’t need the hot sex scenes to write romance and to feel passion between characters. I cant wait to read the next phase in her series which focuses on the children of the original Keller clan – Eduardo is next coming May 2013 – Lost and Found.

If you have not read about this family, I definitely recommend that you start from the beginning:

Arianna Curtis has been in New York for the past decade doing what she dreamed of, she made it to Broadway. For some reason unknown to her family, she has decided to come home. She knows she has a new tenant in her basement flat but didn't know it was John Forrester, Zach's trusty foreman, a man she was paired up with in previous family weddings. John doesn't want a relationship, he's very bitter after a divorce many years ago and Arianna is adamant that marriage and children is not for her. John and Arianna's family help her with her dreams of a community theatre while trying to keep each other safe from a threat.
John is a Southern gentleman and Arianna is a bit of a flirt. She's confident and willing to get her hands dirty. They have an easy banter passing between each other.
I found this series after searching for authors similar to Melody Anne. The main similarities to I can see is that the series focuses on a family and each member has a book dedicated to their love story. There is an individual plot in each book but also there's characters and a plot as an undercurrent through several books.
I enjoyed reading the book. The characters are believable, genuine and there's just enough plot to show the development of each character and their relationship. It makes a change to have a contemporary romance without detailed sex scenes, which I'm not opposed to, but they just aren't needed here and gives a certain class to the stories (there's none of the pants straining, groin twinging etc every other paragraph). I ended the book with a smile on my face looking forward to the next in the series.

wow awesome story! I fell in love with John Forrester in book 1 of this series so is was not disappointed with his main character in this with Arianna Keller. previously set up as partners in Carlos wedding that have always shared a love for each other but with Arianna in New York on Broadway distance kept them apart but when Arianna decides to return to her home town and family they jump into a relationship. It was nice to have all the drama with this Story they just jumped right in.
But as a Preston from the families part returns to destroy them all John steps up and takes control of his loves life asking with Zac and the rest of the kellers bring him Dian and the family together as they ashtrays are.
This story also have us alot more of an insight into Eduardo that features in the next book, although I think the keller story could have stopped here. But do like the idea of more of them

Romantic and Suspenseful. How can you not love John. I loved him from book 1, The Executive’s Decision. I chose to skip books 2 and 3. This 4th book was such a great read. Since Arianna and John have had a sexually tensed friends-only relationship in previous books (mentioned in the book), it didn’t take long for them to get together which I liked. I was a little bothered by her reluctance to confide in John or Zach regarding the threats she had gotten that had led to her swift return home. I would have thought she would fear for her sister, Regan’s, safety and tell the family right away, but she put it off.
Great read, loved it. I don’t plan to read any more in the series. Books 1 and 4 were enough for me. I was pleasantly surprised that book 4 had some carry over from book 1.

Another great story in this series! The Executive Decision is what got me hooked to reading the other stories! Loved seeing the love story that has been forming between Arianna and John. We also see that the Keller family continues to grow with more additions to the family! I look forward to reading Lost and Found!

The first of Bernadette Marie's books that I've read, and I enjoyed it. I liked John and Arianna's relationship, how it strengthened and supported them in their goals and challenges. Also enjoyed the family interaction. Now to catch up on the rest of the family's stories... Looking forward to Eduardo's story, though the first thing I had to ask is, "Already? Kid's just 15!"

Maybe I read the line wrong, but I'm pretty sure Arianna tells John that she never met Zach's dad....wasn't she in NYC in the first book when he died??

I wasn't really excited reading this because Arianna has been my least favorite sibling but it was okay. I don't really understand any of her hold ups and I felt like this moved really fast between them.
