Eva Santana is a world-renowned supermodel accustomed to getting what she wants at the snap of her fingers, and she's tried desperately to forget her small-town beginnings as Renee Kaiser.
Now her mother's last will and testament is trying to give an objecting Renee one last lesson in the joys of servitude. Though Renee was determined to never serve anyone, Damian Caldwell may be man enough to teach her the power in submission, and a few lessons in love along the way.
This book starts with an improbable premise, continues with stereotypical characters, and finishes with a predicable ending - and I enjoyed it more than I expected to. No, I don't highly recommend it, but it does have some nice hot spanking scenes which were worth the read. It is a short, sometimes sweet, sometimes exasperating read that goes down easily.
I enjoyed this story very much but the three months felt very rushed. Another 10k and more spankings would have upped the rating. I loved the interaction between Renee/Eva and Damian and would have really liked a little more length. The beginning was strong and well laid out and then suddenly her time was up and she was falling back into her old ways. Overall strong characters and a good start. I did like the way it teased a bit about the past and how they had spankings together but just a bit more story/plot would have really made me sizzle.
I did not like Eva/Renee and felt that she was a spoiled snot. Damian was heavy-handed (pun intended) with the corporal punishment. But there wasn't much romance between them for a large portion of the story. And I guess that's just where it lacked for me.
This is a very short story but overall it is very good with just the right amount of romance to make it good. Wish it had been longer so the characters could have been developed better but still very enjoyable.
This was a nice short story. It really had the potential to be a great full length novel. I would have loved for the background story of the characters to have been gone into more in depth. It was an interesting read though!
