DISCLAIMER: This will be for all issues of The Muppets: Four Seasons, because they aren't all on this website for some reason.
Oh gee, an issue of a comic where a character gets together with another character, and shenanigans ensue. Never seen that done before.
Also, it has been officially confirmed, folks: Animal has FUCKED. You saw those hearts right there, that means that he and that gorilla were fooling around, so good for them. Will any of the other Muppets fuck in this comic?... tune in next time to find out!
Issue #1
Oh gee, an issue of a comic where a character leaves a group to go join another one, and shenanigans ensue. Never seen that done before.
Also, who the hell are these chucklefucks, and why do they look almost exactly like the Muppets? I dunno, but based on what that one guy said about the queen, I'm going to assume that this is the British knock-off variant of the Muppets. Can't wait to see the other countries' variants of these guys, like The Canadian Muppets and The Aztec Muppets.
Issue #2
Oh gee, an issue of a comic where a character prepares to retire, and shenanigans ensue. Never seen that done before.
Also, there was a segment in this comic that had the Muppets in the army, and that makes me wonder, why don't we have an army Muppets movie or something? We got them taking Manhattan, going to space and invading other franchises, so why not enlist in the army? Don't worry, it won't be that violent and gory, and it would be HILARIOUS.
Issue #3
Oh gee, an issue of a comic where a character(s) gets a gift for another character on Christmas, and shenanigans ensue. Never seen that done before.
Also, this series is over now, so what is the moral lesson of the day? That bolding a bunch of words randomly throughout your comic is stupid. It WOULD be LIKE if I did AN entire REVIEW talking LIKE this....... THAT would BE pretty ANNOYING, wouldn't IT?
Issue #FOUR

This graphic novel was true to the original television series and so fun to read. It was especially interesting to see the Muppets drawn more as they would be if they weren't puppets.
I preferred Amy Mebberson's art in The Muppet Show: Family Reunion, but I thought the writing in The Four Seasons was much better at conveying the Muppet spirit. The book as a whole felt much more cohesive and closer to an episode of the show. However, and I know this is going to sound weird, I also preferred the Boom book's matte pages over the Marvel's glossy pages. Price-wise, Family Reunion is also five dollars cheaper than The Four Seasons and has more pages.
I think it depends on what you're looking for. If you want a Muppet Show episode in book form, pony up for The Four Seasons. If you want a present for a kid who just likes the Muppets, stick with Family Reunion.
I get that it was trying to piece together "acts" just like The Muppet Show, but I feel like it missed the mark in graphic novel form. The storyline jumped all over, sometimes the main story was incorporated into the act, but sometimes not, and I could not get the hang of how to read this story.
I love the Muppets and the whole idea of turning it into a graphic novel, but apparently I'm not a strong graphic novel reader, like I thought, and this was one I couldn't finish. I'll try again later.
