Tara's never been in as much trouble as she is now. Not since Alec.

After spending months among her kin, Tara's allowed to return to Alec's side under one condition—prove he's a feline shape shifter like the rest of the clan before the new moon, or spend the rest of her life trapped inside a mortal body. And if that wasn't bad enough, Alec's feverish nightmares and the Divine's watchful eyes most certainly are.

With Alec's trust on the line, luring him into bed and getting him to open up is close to impossible. And his nightmares are getting worse. Forced to go against the Divine's wishes once again, Tara will do whatever it takes to protect the one she loves. There's only three weeks left until the new moon, and time's running out.

Can Tara remain loyal to her clan and save Alec from his dark dreams? Or will his nightmares destroy them both?

I’m a huge fan of second chances and all things paranormal. But when it comes to writing, my real passion lies in heroes that aren’t too over the top and feisty heroines able to hold their own.

If I’m not writing, chances are I’m either out hiking, binge watching an entire series on Netflix, or playing video games with my husband.

In this sequel to Bound, feline shapeshifter (xaran) Tara has been cast back into the shadow plane for disobedience. Tara successfully negociates her release with the Divine, her people's high priestess and leader -- on one condition, that she prover that her human lover Alec is one of them. The one thing standing in her way is Alec himself -- angry with Tara for leaving him suddenly, Alec refuses to see or speak to Tara. Time is running out and the new moon is approaching. If Tara cannot bring evidence that Alec is xaran, she will remain in the shadow plane for eternity.

Tara is a stubborn heroine, if not a peristant one. We see a little more of the xaran culture in this sequel, as well as a surprising revelation. :)

The sex scenes are tastful and useful to the plot.
