Who is the killer?, In Confessions of a Murder Suspect Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro is a mystery book about a family being convicted of killing their parents. I thought this book was exciting because the kids go through many obstacles. “Open up,or my partner will kick down the door!” Tandoori brought the two police men up to there room after questioning them many times, she finally brought them up and the police saw that the parents were dead. Tandy (Tandooris nickname) called her older brother Matthew. Also she got ther twin brother Harry and her younger brother Peter. Tandy also got Samantha her mother's assistant. All into the living room. Tandy told them that their parents are dead. The Police came down from the parents bedroom. They got questioned for days. Then they found different clues in the house that no body found. The kids work so hard it find out who was the killer, but was it them. I recommend this book because it keeps you wondering through the whole book. Each chapter makes you questioning so you will read more. I don't like to read books but this book was really interesting and I recommend it. I have no bad comments about this book. Confessions of a Murder Suspect just blew me away and I devoured it. I recommend this book to everyone because it was such an extraordinary book.
This book is about a girl, and her parents get killed one night. All the children are of course suspects, but Tandy knows she didn't kill them, or did she? This book is one of my favourite books and I promise you you won't be able to put the book down!
My favorite part of the book was when they find out about the lab....... I recommend this book to everyone! One of the best books ever.....So mysterious and adventurous..... I'm sure everyone will love it!
This series is so amazing! I've never been so obsessed about a book besides "The Mortal Instruments" and "Heist Society" series! I hope there will be a fourth book!
Mystery from the start. Who murdered Tandy's parents? Was it one of her three brothers? Her mother's assistant? Her uncle Pig? Tandy is not even sure if it wasn't her.
Plagued by flashbacks and memory laps, Tandy cannot even assure herself that she did not off her parents. This story told by flippant sarcastic highly educated teenager. It is nothing less than what I would expect from a James Patterson novel.
A nail biting mystery with twists and turns and misdirects. I had my suspicions (which turned out to be true) at the scene where Tandy's parents are discovered. But I could never be sure until the revelation at the end. I really enjoyed the ride.
The cat-mouse banter between sarcastic jaded Tandy and the no-non-sense lead detective had me wondering who was the cat and who was the mouse.
TBH I liked this one better than the book "one of us is lying". I am gonna say that this book was intense. It also pulled you more in after every chapter and was interested. ALSO THIS BOOK HAS SHORT CHAPTERS AAHH, so it's easier to finish it. Minus one cuz ending was predictable for me, BUT IT WAS STILL AMAZING
This was amazing. James Patterson, if you ever see this, please do a bunch load of more books in the Confessions series. It is so... Parfait😉. DO MOREEEEE! I REFUSE TO READ ANY OTHER BOOK!! #PETER #The Angels # We want more! #PLEASE GIVE ME ANOTHER BOOK! # I literrlly read one word at a time very slowly because I never wanted to finish the book!! ANY THING IS POSSIBLE PATTERSON!
Not quite the normal James Patterson book, but I really did enjoy it. Yes if you don't follow along it can be confusing, but it was not that hard to figure out what and why Tandy was writing how and what she wrote, wow was that not confusing!? lol!.
For those who enjoy mystery, suspense, thrillers, and YA you will enjoy this book. A very fast read as the chapters are short, which I did enjoy. I do not like when you read a book that has chapters that are as long as an entire book. Therefore, I did enjoy the short chapters.
This book is about the Angel family and how they deal with the tragedy of their parent’s demise. They also have their personal demons to deal with as well, while determined to find out whom, why and how their parents were murdered.
Tandy was an intriguing character; I really liked her strong personality and admired how well she could hold herself together through the ordeal of being a suspect, her parent’s murder, while trying to be strong for her siblings. They all put their heads together and go to work to find out why their mother had so many secrets and why Hugo seen their father coming out of a secret room. They find out their father was not forthcoming about the financial devastation the family was going to endure. Their parents were not as rich as they were living, they begin to wonder how they are going to live, will they be separated from one another, and what will happen to Matthew?
This is going to be the first book in a series for YA mystery/suspense readers. I cannot wait to find out what will come of the Angel family. If you are a James Patterson fan I recommend this book weather you are a teen or an adult, I believe you will enjoy this book as I did.
I haven't read a good mystery in a long time- and this book was getting so many mixed reviews I decided to just give it a go and try it out myself.
This book was different and I liked it. For some reason it reminded me of a modern day Adams Family. The Angel family is definitely not your normal family. Maud and Malcolm Angel have taught their children to achieve nothing but greatness- one of their children is a talented football player, the other a musical prodigy, and then of course, there is Tandy.
Tandy is the smartest kid out of the Angels. When her parents are murdered, she is determined to find out who the killer is.
This is a fast paced, intriguing sample that left me wanting more. Buckle up for a ride on the mystery train- and be prepared to buy the whole book.
A wonderful mystery plot that could totally be portrayed on TV. It definitely has you questioning everyone and even whether the main character herself is a reliable character. A VERY well-written ending and mind-blowing (at least to me) solution to who murdered the Angels. I would really love to see this one day as a movie. I believe it would a good movie to watch whether you read the book or not. This novel is THAT GOOD. It may seem creepy at times, but it is also interesting to see it from a "celebrities"-like point of view. I recommend this read to anyone who is looking for a mystery novel to read or watches numerous crime-fighting dramas. You'll really love this book. <333 Wish it was longer. :(
Tandy is an intriguing character. She's unlike most teenagers. She's not heartless but controls her emotions and is valued for her insensitivity. Her lack of showing feelings enables her to question everyone around her about her parents murder. She doesn't leave out any possibilities on who killed her parents, even herself. The Angel kids are interesting characters. Harry is the complete opposite of Tandy and is a good contrast. When they find out what makes them unnatural, that's when the plot takes a turn.
In the book Confessions of a Murder Suspect/ was thrilling story of secret and death. I have enjoy this book the first time I have read the first chapter. This story is about a murder of Tandy parents. The police take her in as a suspect thinking that she know something, but not yet. As the murder gets mysterious Tandy investigate more and learns secrets that her parents didn't tell her about and she start putting the puzzles together. I recommend this book to readers that like murder mysteries. This book has a brief explanation that will make you drawn to this book.
It was intriguing, but the ending left more questions than answers. Who is J.R. really and where did he go? Why didn't Tandy ask the good Dr more about her own past? Did her brother kill his girlfriend? I wanted to know more! I'm not sure if Patterson plans to continue with another novel or just chose not to answer those questions as an easy way to wrap up a novel.
I liked how this book was about how the father was secretly experimenting on his kids, and he gave them medicine that was used to help him study his kids. I liked how they kept everything a secret. They had their whole life a secret.
Tandy Angel finds herself in a tough spot when she's awakened by the police. Her parents are dead and the police think Tandy or her brothers killed them. This is a teenage series, but I really enjoyed the suspense.
This book kept me reading the whole times and I never wanted to put it down. I can't wait to read the next line so I can find out more on the case and who the murderer is
