Rate this book
To be happy and fulfilled in your job – and in life – you have to take on responsibility!

It doesn’t matter if you are a top manager or if you have just started your career. If your ultimate goal is to be successful, and to be successful throughout your entire career, you will realize that taking on responsibility, and thereby gaining self-governance, is the only way.

Rise to the top! shares with you the rules and principles that you will need to achieve these goals and succeed in today’s business environment. It is a very pragmatic book; these rules and principles are simple and can be used by you immediately.

Foremost Rise to the top! is about embracing work as what it is: a major part of your life, and not some place you go to 5 days a week.

After many years of keeping my ideas and thoughts to myself I published my first book "Rise to the Top" - a simple to follow leadership primer based on my experience as a Manager and Consultant at several Fortune 500 companies - in 2012.

Since then I have worked as a co-author of two children Sci-Fi novels written by my son Luke - "Into the Light" and "Cave Planet".

My newest Project titled "My America" is a fusion of Travelogue, personal memoir and at times homorous commentary on American society as seen from an outsider.

A well written and concise book by someone who clearly has a wealth of experience working within a team and people management. As someone who has just started my career and for the last few years worked within a team, I can totally relate to some of the points made and I will certainly take into use the author's advice and experience. I think it's a great read for those starting out with their jobs and those wanting to work their way up. Many of the best managers I have worked with have shown the same leadership skills discussed in this book and the worst ones displayed the attributes which this book also describes. Valuable, easy to read and insightful.
