Fun manga! These omnibus volumes are ungodly huge. One feels downright scholarly reading such a huge time ... or as scholarly as one can feel reading comics about half naked vampires (so would a pessimist see them as half clothed?). Characters are fun. Action is decent. Not the greatest manga in the world but quite fun in its own way.
I would give this a 3.5 stars. I was a little disappointed that we did not see as much of Akira and Hime-san's relationship as we did in Omnibus 1. However, with the new characters, I did still enjoy it.
Would've been higher because I loved the whole three clans trying to force the Princess Mena to marry one of them by having their top assassins kill her favorite Akira. That was pretty intense. However, even with all the world building, I felt at certain points the weird camera angles of children like vampires were definitely unnecessary and hard to defend even if they are innocent.
3.5 out of 5
