I was excited to run across this book as I've followed Oak Island for many years. Unfortunately, this book regurgitates the many myths and fables about the "finding" of the money pit and pre-civil war excavations that have no actual historical basis. The author also accepts many disproven theories at face value with absolutely no attempt to think critically. The book does, however, do a creditable job of describing the more recent activities on the island up to the attempt to uncover what is inside borehole 10-X.
