Girl's Guide to Predators

Rate this book
Psychologists estimate that all women will be put in harm's way, in one form or another, by a predator during their lifetime. At their most extreme, the predator is a sociopath who lures woman into psychologically-damaging relationships that are almost impossible to walk away from safely. More common is the narcissist or the man with anti-social personality initially charming, sensitive, intense and charismatic... but who soon torments his lover and devastates her life through a calculated method of manipulation, domination and control. Then there are the stalkers... After her own terrifying experience, Alison Summers has created 'The Girl's Guide to Predators'. It is everything you need to know about the predatory why they do what they do, why you'll like them, warning signs and red flags and how to get out.

This important book should be read everyone: on campus, at high schools, women's book clubs....you name it. It’s clear and concise.

Why am I so enthusiastic? Because I learned a whole lot that just might save my life or the life of someone I love and is a must-read
for all women: mothers, daughters, sisters, friend.

It's not just for women, either. Dads: Give a copy to your daughter before she leaves for college. Guys: Stop worrying about your girlfriend's safety, and give her this book instead.

Stop worrying, just start reading!

"M thought this book was about making you afraid, but it's not. It's about becoming an active participant in protecting your freedom. It's about listening to your instincts. It's about having the courage to look into the mind of a predator so that you will see the world from his perspective, and never be duped."
