When there's a murder during a restaurant's karaoke night, Detective Jacqueline Harper and her partner have to tune up their skills to get to the bottom of the killing spree. Unfortunately, her investigation is hindered when Tom Paulin shows up at the precinct, assigned to spend time with her to get an an inside look at how real cops investigate crimes in order to accurately portray one on his new television show. The last thing Jack needs is the handsome actor taking notes on her investigation. When the Karaoke Killer continues to claim singers across the city, Jack goes to new lengths to catch him before he takes more lives. She just needs to figure out what to do with the actor tag-along once the case is closed...

She participated in the National Novel Writing Month in 2011 and completed her first novel, Empty Tracks. She self-published this novel in the summer of 2012.
