Fabulous end to this series, another fast paced, action packed story and a second chance at romance for Hawk and the man she never stopped loving but can they get their HEA with everything that is going on.

Hawk, Aria Morgan, now holds a position with ASIO is more determined than ever to get her answers it started with the failed mission in Kyrgyzstan and every mission her Alpha Tactical Ops team has gone on things have turned out bad, she knows there is a mole somewhere, but who? Is it time to return to Kyrgyzstan?

Xander Devlin (Razor) walked away from the army after the disaster in Kyrgyzstan, there was another reason as well, Hawk broke his heart, these days he is on a cattle station flying a plane for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, but when he gets a call to return to his army mates for a new mission he is going.

Aria and Xander together, the sparks fly and the pull is still there, but danger is around every corner, will they firstly come out alive and will they be able to reignite the love that has always been there. There is a lot going on in this one discovering the mole shocks everyone, but what an ending it was fabulous, the best, I do highly recommend this one and the series to any reader who loves lots of danger and action in their stories and a beautiful romance as well. I do look forward to the new series to come.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.

I love this book. It is full of complex alpha war-torn men and sassy women. It is fast-paced, action packed and will get your blood pumping, in excitement, and the sexual tension runs high.

Rogue Mission is the sixth heart-pounding book in the Alpha Tactical Ops series and one that should not be missed.

She learns of her father's betrayal, she never really knew him, and the evil secrets he held. When she arrives to confront him, all hell breaks loose.

I am still riding the high, but sadly, there are no more books in this series. I am off to see what else Kendall has because her writing is soooooo good.

A great finish to this 6 novel series and another non-stop action-packed read.

After everything the Alpha Tactical Ops team has been through together and each finding love, it is time for the whole team to come together and end the mystery behind the missing gold, Scorpion Industries and find out who their enemies are as well as time for Hawk (Aria) to get her HEA with her ex-love and team member Razor (Xander).

This is a fairly long book and it needed to be to be able to wrap up everything and leave no loose ends. Kendall Talbot does a great job of bringing all the past missions together to create a final ending that does not disappoint.

From Australia to Kyrgyzstan the team are in for one hell of a final trip with their lives and hearts on the line, unexpected bad guys and adverse conditions the team finally get to bring down the people behind Scorpion Industries and move on to their next adventures. I'm looking forward to the new spin-off series Wolf Security to begin.

A tarnished military group out for answers, justice, and redemption must face off with their last hidden enemy one last time and survive the experience. She’s been backing the team all along with her leadership and support, but now Aria “Hawk” Morgan is in the middle of the action, determined as the rest of the team to survive and take down their enemy once and for all, but she needs to face her past in more ways than one when she’s partnering with Xander “Razor” Devlin in a second chance romantic action suspense.

Rogue Mission is the sixth entry in a series that offers up individual romances, but a tightly connected suspense plot line so the series must be taken in order.

Aria is a capable, skilled and intelligent operative, but has had to fight tooth and nail to climb to where she is now in Australian Security especially after that disastrous mission she was the lead on. She feels always like she must prove herself to her dad and, after the incident to her team in Kyrgyzstan, to herself and to them. I was hoping Hawk would eventually get her own book and was thrilled when I saw Rogue Mission announced. I love a strong, smart female lead and Aria was all that. She has a good match in the wounded in spirit and emotions pilot-doctor she’s never forgotten even though what they once had was left a gnarled up mess waiting for them to untangle it together.

Razor hasn’t been a familiar face in the team group throughout the series. He was the doctor and pilot of the team and has a devastating romantic history with Aria. He took the mess that came of that last mission to heart so that he has kept his distance from the team until now.

The romance starts out with a tricky past break up, but these two are pros and table their feelings until they’re not in the middle of a life or death moment. I enjoy how Kendall Talbot works action and romance so that both sides develop and pace out well. The fight scenes and thrills are breath stealing and the big money moments, but she doesn’t stint on drawing out the feels with the romance pairings that are all as different as the main characters themselves.

I loved all the exotic locales in which the scenes were acted from the opener in an underwater clandestine dive to the wreck of Chiu’s luxury yacht to the desert location that has been at the center of the series, but this was the first time the team has physically gone back to where their mission fight debacle happened that got them all pushed out of the army. The villains have been pernicious and formidable. This final book had some grand surprise twists and reveals that ratcheted up an already unbelievable story. But, like the best grand finales, it steps it up on all the above. I purposefully avoided the details because I don’t want to diminish the excitement for the next reader.

Rogue Mission is part of a pulse-pounding action series with spicy and exciting romances to meld with the suspense. I’d be in reader depression after zipping through this last book, but the good news is that there is to be a second series in the same world of Alpha Tactical Ops. Romantic Suspense fans who like exotic action-packed storytelling should jump on this sensational series.

I rec'd an eARC via Booksprout from the author to read in exchange for an honest review.

Rogue Mission, #6 - The last book of the series but not the end for its characters. Plenty of intrigue and action mixed in with plenty of romance, including a second chance. Betrayal, suspense, suspicion and excitement mixed in with interesting story lines that accumulate here. A tiny thread or two will be carried over into the new Wolf Securities Series. Source: BookSprout. 5*

Stealth Mission, prequel - An entertaining read complete with military action, romance and forgiveness, with a touch of revenge/justice. Ms. Talbot is one of the few authors that will actually have me holding my breath or leaning forward with anticipation when reading action scenes. Ya never know what she is going to dish out. Great characters and story lines in this series. Source: Booksprout. 5*

Alpha Tactical Ops Series:
Escape Mission, #1 - I love every book I've read so far by this talented author. This book is full of excitement, danger, intrigue, good characters and good story lines. There is romance, too. The romantic are always in heat, and that's a bit distracting in several places in this book. I have a hard time believing a professional soldier, Special Forces Ops to boot, would let T&A interfere with his planning and thoughts when they are about to get involved with some bad business that could get them killed. She is out of her experience field and should only care that part filling out the seat of his jeans is keeping her pants safe. Otherwise, this is an awesome read! Multiple stories all well blended into a hard to put down read. Although flawed, from battles, the crew is a bunch of likeable, realistic folk. The civilians have their baggage, too, but go well with the rest. Not many of the baddies are known but even baddie Marcus is OK. 5*

Hostile Mission, #2 - Begins two months after Escape ends. Told from Levi's point of view, his romance, too. Interesting. Intense. Intriguing. Lots of action and events running through these story lines. An old enemy rears its ugly head while the gang works a job on the South Pole. Some hairy bits that add to making it hard to put this book down. A new love; new jobs; new characters. 5*

Rescue Mission, #3 - More fun, action, excitement and romance are found in this story. Hard to put down. I skip the sex scenes and edit out some of the vulgar language but any book by Ms. Talbot is worth reading. There is plenty of happenings for Ghost and Neon adding to their romantic beginnings. Well blended are the old story lines with the new. 5*

Stealth Mission, #4 - This series has been a great ride so far. The old story line of Scorpion and the unknown enemies blends well with the new story for Viper and his teammates. Besides a new romance, there are a lot of secrets, surprises and more questions. Well written, well thought out and fun to read, the talented Ms. Talbot gives us another entertaining, action-filled story with her brand of romance. 5*

Shadow Mission, #5 - It was great to get back to the missing submarine and the gold bars again. Yasmin is a very likeable character; Cobra comes off a bit "unmanly" sadly, his thoughts are not the usual team player. Unfortunately, there is an over abundance of vulgar language in this book, which became distracting and overwhelming. First time I wanted a Talbot book to end. Otherwise, the story was interesting. Rogue Mission is the sixth and final book in Kendal Talbot’s amazing Alpha Tactical Ops series. This is an alpha military second chance romance that is suspenseful, action packed, and filled with intense passion and fantastic characters.

After the deadly and career ending mission to Kyrgyzstan, Royal Flying Doctor pilot, Xander Devlin (Codename: Razor) has avoided his former army team and Aria Morgan (Codename: Hawk), the woman her broke his heart. But when the chance to discover what went comes up, he will do anything to find the truth and set things right. Secrets and danger surround the team, and trust become important, especially when their lives are on the line. Will Aria and Xander be able to trust each other and push their past aside in order to survive the deadly forces against them? Read it and find out!

I love Aria and Xander together, their previous connection was intense and still strong despite their years apart. They were destined to be together and the stars finally aligned to bring them together to resolve the issues and events that tore them and their careers apart. Alpha Tactical Ops is a series of standalone books, but they are best enjoyed when read in order as this series includes interconnecting characters and storylines from the previous books.

Talbot did an amazing job wrapping up this series and I can’t wait for the spinoff, Wolf Security to begin. Meeting new characters, discovering the rest of the gold and seeing what happens with the members of Alpha tactical will be fantastic. It’s not the end, but the beginning.

The Alpha Tactical Ops series has been a non-stop adrenaline rush that I swear gets more intense with each new book, and this book somehow brought that tradition to an entirely new level.

Aria/Hawk is a teammate that has been less involved in the actual action or fray in previous books in the series, but she’s been there to provide support and rescue to her team on multiple occasions. In this book we get to really know her and it takes a little time to see through the serious and uptight rule following demeanor. Underneath she’s tough and cool under pressure.

Xander/Razor is a teammate who I don’t recall reading about previously, and he has a secret personal history with Aria, one that ended up with two broken hearts. He joins his former teammates on a mission back to Kyrgyzstan to search for gold and answers to a sabotaged mission.

This storyline in this book is intense, nonstop and likely to cause you to experience serious secondhand fear for the characters. There are a couple scenes in glad I didn’t read before bed last night.

The romance between Aria and Hawk is slow to build because they have unresolved anger and other emotions to work through and they are up to their neck in danger for a good portion of the book. The having to rely on each other in extremely dangerous situations forces them to work together and they each begin to reevaluate their feelings and what happened years ago.

I’m excited for the new adventures Kendal has in store for us readers. I love the suspense and adrenaline-fueled storylines she writes!

If you have never read a Kendall Talbot book before you are in for a thrilling treat. Tension, romance and adventure abound. Each book in the series concentrates on a member of the Alpha Tactical Ops, a group of former soldiers who survived a brutal attack in Kyrgyzstan. This is Hawk’s story. These books are best read in sequence as each of the missions are related to an ongoing mystery, but Talbot provides enough background in Rogue Mission to familiarize the reader with their previous missions. Central to the story is the loss of gold bars dating back to WWII. Hawk worked for her father in Australian Intelligence and used her position to assist Alpha in their hunt for the gold’s location and who was behind the attack in Kyrgyzstan.

Xander loved Hawk. She is a city girl and he is pure cowboy. Hawk could never see herself on a ranch and broke off their relationship. It has been three years since the split. Now they are once again involved in a mission back in Kyrgyzstan where it all began and they have once again been betrayed. As Xander and Hawk fight their feelings for each other they must also fight to survive. There is a mole who has been betraying each of their missions. It is finally time to end that interference. These stories contain adult language and content, but the pages will fly by as the suspense mounts. Although Rogue Mission completes this series, the Alpha group will be making appearances in her future series and I look forward to seeing where she takes them. 'Rogue Mission' was thrilling. Moreover, the pulsating plot was filled with suspense, tension, action, terror, gold bars, snippets of levity, epiphany after another epiphany, and love. Dodging avalanches, going through snow-packed terrain in Kyrgyzstan, walking through intricate caves and tunnels, maneuvering through a semi-frozen lake, watching out for the needed but downed rope bridge, looking out for snipers and other hostile men, the Australians' Tactical Ops Team's work was cut out for them. And is there a mole in their group? Oh no! Are there two moles? What about the photo Hawk uncovered in a major player's office? Who could be trusted? Oh no! Another epiphany?
Xander (Razor) and Aria (Hawk), the protagonists, were ideally suited for each other. I loved the vivid descriptions, imagery, and figurative language the author used, such as "I studied the clouds on the horizon that were as gray as a nasty bruise," or these lines, "Great Barracudas darted around us. Their bodies glistened in the sun like they were highly-polished daggers," or this gem, "But Dad was like a giant boot stomping on all my dreams."
Overall, I liked how most of the loose ends were tied together in the denouement. Moreover, I thoroughly enjoyed the frenetic narrative.

Our heroine has tried to follow orders, but when those orders threaten her old team, she can't just follow along any more. She is going to need some help to do what she needs to do and that means reaching out to our hero and opening old wounds. Can they put aside the past in order to protect the future?

This is book six of the series and its conclusion. While the story does just fine as a standalone, it also wraps up the background story from the previous books. As such, it will be a more enjoyable experience if you read the other books first.

This is a romantic suspense story with an ex-military theme. The story is well written and easy to read with a fast moving plot that has more than its share of complications for our hero and heroine. The characters are well developed and have a lot of depth to them, including some past traumas that make it rather angsty at times. Fortunately, there is plenty of action to keep things focused and the chemistry between our characters is quite real. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable story and a great series. I look forward to more from this author.

Highly recommended.

This one will leave you breathless!

Kendall Talbot pulls out all the stops on this one. This story focuses on Hawk (Aria) and Razor (Xander) whose brief past relationship left both emotionally scarred. All that baggage must be put aside when an opportunity presents itself that could finally allow the team to shed some light on the life-altering debacle of a past mission. This story is packed with action, danger, adventure, twists, surprises, tension, and, of course, steamy romance as only this author can deliver. As the final installment of this amazing series, we finally get the unifying explanation to events of the previous stories. As my questions were answered and everything fell into place, I just couldn’t read fast enough (and woe to anyone who disturbed me as I furiously flipped the pages to get to the final resolution). Fortunately, the author promises to follow up with these wonderful characters in the upcoming Wolf Protector Series. I can’t wait. ❤️

I was provided with an advance copy of this book, for which I thank the author, but I am sharing my honest and unbiased review on a completely voluntary basis.

Rogue Mission by Kendall Talbot is the final book in the Alpha Tactical Ops Series. What a book it is too. The entire series has been rip-roaring action-packed, but this has been something a little more. With its dual perspective and for part of it happening in different locations, it kept me on my toes reading to see when and where Aria and Xander would wind up back together. I should have been able to see where they would need to go to finally catch the puppet master who had been calling all the shots and why, costing so many others their lives but I will say it was still a surprise.

This has it all the suspense, the betrayal, the second chances, love that could no longer be ignored, the heat to pull them together and a fight scene if I hadn’t read it, I wouldn’t have believed it possible to be so chilling. Then the closure that this team needed and an offer not to be refused.

I guess it is possible to enjoy this book as a stand-alone. However, I am so very glad to have read the entire series. You will be too.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher/author through BookSprout which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Rogue Mission is the final book in the Alpha Tactical Ops series. Like all the other books, it's an outstanding mix of adrenaline-inducing action and suspense and melt-your-heart romance with all the feels plus plenty of heat. With every book out, I've claimed it as a new favourite and now again, with Hawk and Razor's story, it's like the author cranked everything up a notch and saved the best for last. Since Rogue Mission brings the underlying suspense plot to a close, you will need to read the series in order if you don't want spoilers. Or you could read this first, and then - kwowing there's a happy ending - go back to the beginning to see all the roads leading to this end! In any case, this is a fantastic book to end this series that will stay on my keeper shelf to be re-read again. In the heart-warming HEA, there's a new beginning as well and a promise that we'll meet the team and their partners again. I can't wait!.

Rating 4.5 stars. Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. This was a nice wrap up to this series with most of the questions answered, the mastermind found (what a reveal!) and a lead in for the new Wolf Securities series where the newly named Alpha tactical ops team will continue seeking the remaining answers they need whilst bringing down bad guys. Overall it was a good read, with lots of intrigue, action and suspense, mixed in with a second chance romance that was steamy and heartwarming. The ending was just perfect, not just for Aria and Xander, but for the whole team (and their partners). My only 'complain' is that at some portions, it felt draggy with too much unnecessary details which had me skipping pages. But that's just me and other readers may find the details perfectly fine. Definitely a series worth reading if you love suspense and action with a dash of steamy romance mixed in.

Aria ‘Hawk’ Morgan broke both her and horse rancher Xander ‘Razor’ Devlin hearts when she ended their secret affair after their team was betrayed on a mission that left one teammate dead. Except Razor, who avoided them and Hawk who worked for her dad at ASIO, the team was obsessed with finding who betrayed them.

Years of research has given the team had most of the answers about the betrayer and were convinced there was more after Chui but that paled when they discovered the location of the bulk of the missing gold. Hawk and Razor are brought in, hoping everyone would get closure and maybe a corrected notation to their military status. But they’re betrayed again!

Separated from the team, Hawk and Razor have to face their feelings, their past and Hawk thinks things through. She almost doubles over from the body blows that keep coming when she realizes a piece of the puzzle was wrong, that a helper is actually a hinder-er but all the loose ends come together to wrap this series and open the door for the next steps.

Kendall Talbot has outdone herself once again! The last book in the Alpha Tactical Ops series was all that I expected and more!

After reading the previous books in the series, it was a huge welcome to finally read about Hawk's life (Aria) who headed her team's missions. It was refreshing to follow a strong, female figure on her rogue mission, and along the way, questioning her weaknesses and doubts in love, family and duty.

As with her previous books in the series, Kendall has an amazing ability of drawing you into the scenes with her skillful use of detailed descriptions. She pulls you into suspense, drama, mystery, love...as each page is turned. And just when you think you have the story line all figured out, Kendall pulls you into another direction.

Spoiler alert: I love happy endings and am super excited to know I'll be following the team on future missions in the upcoming series.

The Royal Flying Doctor pilot, Razor (Xander), leaves his family home in order to survive and to completea missionwith his military buddies Luck is on his side because he soon reconnects with a former lover on the mission.
Hawk (Aria), who is high up in Australian Intelligence and is confounded by what appears to be sabotage from within. Could it be a mole hanging out with them in Kyrgyzstan? Someone back home? Where and how?
Dealing with the sabotage keeps her on her toes and eventually brings her closer to Razor.
By the time I reached the end of the book it did not seem like there could possibly be another deceiver she'd have to deal with and it was a relief to get many miscreants off the streets. Still, the surprise of finding more bad guys and good guys continued.
Love is in the air as well as mystery but I wouldn't want to spoil that. You'd best believe that the love story is a fantastic one.

Every time I read a book in this series i think that it can't get any better and it always does and the bar has definitely been lifted with this final book in this series. Kendall always takes us on a roller coaster ride and this latest offering is no different.

Aria (Hawk) Morgan has been working in the background using her and her fathers intelligence connections to help Alpha team solve a mystery that dates back to WWII but this time she will have to actually be in the front with the team and that means she has to face Xander (Razor) Devlin he walked away from his team after that fateful mission that destroyed all their careers but he also walked away from the woman that broke his heart when she walked away. Now they will have to return to where it all began and realise that the danger is much closer than anyone realised. Can they find the missing gold and can they reconnect and maybe build a future You will have to read to see

Hawk and Razor bring the final book of the series to a close, but on the way there is so much drama, betrayal, danger, intrigue, trust issues and twists. Hawk gets an order that does not feel right so she goes to her past leader, Razor, and starts to stir up trouble. Their past missions had problems due to a mole and they need to find the person responsible. The whole team reunites as they head back overseas in an action-packed, scary, mission to right the wrongs done to them. Loved the characters, their pasts and personalities. The storyline keeps you on edge from the start and gives you all the answers before the terrific ending. Guess what... this is not their ending, but also a new beginning in a new business called Wolf Security. I can not wait to see what the team is up to and how everyone is doing. Love this series and know the author will do it proud again.

I loved this final book in the series Hawk(Aria) is a complex character, and I loved the story between her, and Razor(Xander). I loved their story,
It was full of suspense, and action what you have come to expect from these characters. I love them all - all unique in their own way.
I love Aria she is kickass as all the females are in this book and every book Kendall writes.
I love that they went back to where it all started Kyrgyzstan, plot twists galore.
Didn't see that coming.
A proper page-turner, can't put down, can't go to sleep, wake up and just have to read more.
Way to go Kendall you never disappoint
Can't wait to see what your next book is

I loved this book which is the conclusion to the Alpha Tactical Ops Series. So exciting with so much action. Xander and Aria, who used to be a couple before splitting up, still have an undeniable attraction to each other. Back together with the team to continue searching for the Nazi gold and to find out what happened to the team on their last mission, they try fighting against that attraction. This book concludes all the storylines from all six books in a very satisfying and thrilling way. Plus, I'm excited that my favorite team will continue in the new series Wolf Securities along with new characters. I highly recommend this book and the entire series and looking forward to the new series.

To say this bookwas a page turner does not do justice to it. This is book 6 in the series and it was my favourite. I love how you get to hear about the other characters from the previous books in the series and what is happening in their lives. This book answers a lot of questions about the Alpha Tactical Ops Teams older missions and you finally get to know and understand Hawk. What amazed me was I didn't predict who the traitor or the leak was (I am not going to give away any spoilers so you will have to read it!) Kendall Talbot is an amazing author and if you haven't read any of her books yet then you need to start.

What a ride! The search for the stolen gold continues as the team goes back to the country where they lost Wolf. We finally meet Hawk, she decided to work with her dad for the Australian government. And Xander returns from working on his father’s farm, without success in making it profitable. All the puzzle pieces come together for the team who’ve lost so much for the sake of this gold. We also get updates on the Alpha team and what happens next. This has been one of my favorite series because it tackles personal, political and historical issues. The adventure and action are top notch with tremendous detail and exciting scenes. I’ve been able to read an early copy and wrote this review voluntarily.

Absolutely brilliant! I am so loving this series.
This one is about pilot Razor who is urged to go back to fight the past and Aria aka Hawk has a secret that will influence the success of the mission.
Razor and Hawk really were explosive. Originally once they get back together there is a lot more than animosity. The friction is at all all time high but the past hasn't taken away the attraction that hits boiling. Their chemistry is amazing.
Kendall Talbot bring us a fantastic story of drama, action and suspense with great characters who make the story excel.
Honestly a brilliant story. Highly recommend it!!.

Kendall Talbot finishes up her Alpha Ops series in an outstanding way. We follow the last known member of the team, Hawk, and in a delightful surprise, get to meet the final two members of the original crew. New mysteries are presented and solved. And of course the evil that has run through the entire series is revealed and dealt with. I was especially delighted how she cleverly wove the last two original members of the team. It was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about anything in this book, or indeed the series. She did leave a bit of an opening that I hope we’ll revisit in her next military series.
Hopefully if you’ve made it to this review, that means you’ve read the books 1-5, and are eager to keep following the story. If not, what are you waiting for? This series is Ms Talbot at her best.

This is the continuation of Aria looking into the killings and gold that Chui was involved in. The tactical ops team invites her to go with them to Kyrgyzstan to pick up a truckload of gold. She will be reunited with Xander who she dumped after the last op that they were on. There is still feeling between the two and when they are separated from their team mates they must act together to escape from Kyrgyzstan again. This book is full of emotions, action and betrayal from those that the members don't expect. Aria and Xander will make decisions that will change their lives. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to their new beginnings.

Rogue Mission - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

Diving alone against orders on a sunken yacht, ASIO agent Aria (aka "Hawk"), comes under attack by a gang of drug-smugglers, and struggles to survive after her air supply's cut.
She has major regrets, amongst which are who betrayed her and the team - Jeff, Ryder, Ghost and Whisper - in Kyrgyzstan, and some other personal ones. Does she get saved?
Will Xander Devlin, (codename: "Razor"), be the one to help Aria, by taking her and the Alpha Corps to rerun the overseas mission, and find those guilty of that deadly betrayal?

What a great way to wrap up an awesome series.
Hawk has always been a kickass woman throughout the books. It was wonderful to listen to her story.
The heritage of the H and h, unlike many stories, didn't have the positive support that they needed and it was all the plot needed to bring these 2 characters together.
I so enjoyed the mystery and the team getting back together to go back in time.
I followed Kendall's subtle clues until I guessed the culprit.
It was a well paced adventure and I enjoyed all the loose ends tying up.
It was an exciting ride going back to different countries and different climates with all the suspense and tricky situations.
Justine and Antony did an awesome job ad always and I'm sad to be ending the series.

Clear your diary as you will want to binge-read that one! The amount of adrenaline made it impossible for me to put down. I felt like I was watching an fast paced action movie with a seemingly doomed love story in the background. I loved seeing this softer side to Aria and catching up with the rest of the team. This book has a few shockers too...I would recommend to read the whole series to get the full impact of how amazing that last story was. It gave me closure on what I wanted to know and got me excited about what more Kendall might have in store for us!.

This is a romantic suspense story with an ex-military hero and heroine. The story is well written and easy to read with a fast moving plot that has more than its share of complications for our hero and heroine. The characters are well developed and have a lot of depth to them, including some past traumas that make it rather angsty at times. Fortunately, there is plenty of action to keep things focused and the slow burn chemistry between our characters is fun to watch. Overall, this was a suspenseful and enjoyable story that I will read again.
