As the days get longer and the weather turns warmer, Misty the Cloud and friends will have to do their part to help things grow on Earth.
Step 2 Readers use basic vocabulary and short sentences to tell simple stories. They are perfect for children who recognize familiar words and can sound out new words with help.
Read for my toddler's bedtime. This story followed mother/daughter living on the clouds and mother/daughter living on earth. Spring is here and both sides are doing spring cleaning. Clare wanted to grow a flower. Misty's mom taught her daughter that spring needs rain and sunshine to take care of trees, lakes, and flowers below on earth. Misty and her friends on the clouds got to working and on earth Clare saw her flower grow from seed to shoot to blooming flower. Fun story for kids!

👦🏻 reviews: ahhh, Spring is here and what we’re all hoping is that allergy season is not going to happen again this year but it’s all a wishful thinking. This cute book is sharing information about spring and what weather-wise we should be looking forward to it. When I saw the author’s name, I know she’s a great person to introduce weather and what the climate change is. Cute book for kindergartners.
Misty the Cloud teaches young readers about the weather. In The Thing About Spring, Misty the Cloud teaches about shifts in seasons and the importance of rain and sun in helping flowers bloom. Great illustrations and an easy to follow story, this is a great early reader book.

People clean and get ready for spring after all it’s called spring cleaning. The clouds also must make ready for plenty of rain and water to bring on the growing season. This book was fine, but I found it more annoying than anything. I’m not sure if it’s too chipper or just the mood I’m in. It was fine but just fine.
