SEDUCTION SO SWEET...

Jake McKoy moves to a tiny town in upstate New York to escape a painful secret from his past. He has no idea that it is here that he will find healing and strength and a new start in life. And that healing comes in the form of a fresh-faced woman who steals his heart.

Samantha Fox was only a month away from her wedding day when her fiance broke the engagement. He'd found a more 'suitable' bride. Haunted by the constant fear that she's not 'good enough', Sam finds it hard to give her heart to another man. And when that man happens to be a billionaire who can't let go of his past, things become complicated indeed.

I'm a lover of all things romance - novels, poetry, flowers and chocolate (Snickers and chocolate covered peanuts are my favorite). I also love visiting romantic destinations - the sunny beaches of the Caribbean and romantic European cities including London and Paris. My idea of heaven - a comfy lawn chair on the beach in the shade of a palm tree, with a sizzling romance novel and a pina colada. Romance rocks - every time!

Life is not perfect and everyone has trying times… but this book sure shows us if we have patience, and can be understanding that we have all been in a situation. In time love wins and you will have a very HEA! Well written! 5 Stars

Overall this was a nice read. Only thing is I just took a while to get into it. Something about the coming together of Jake & Samantha, for me was missing.

They seemed to have charisma, but I'm not sure if it was Jake I found hard to get in the head of or Sam. I understand the loss he was dealing with, but so was she.

The story was interesting & the characters on the whole had depth, but maybe this story was too much to only be a short story. I think it had the makings of a full length novel & needed to respect the issues Sam had from her past as well.

Maybe it was all the near romantic parts & although it was nice for him to be so respectful & wait for them to be together. I think we didn't get to deal with Sam's insecurities. But like I said, overall an easy read to relax & float away in the romance.

This was another short story. Jake & Samantha's story is quite sad in a way but also cute. Sam comes to Jake's aid when he needs a plumber. Thinking that he's going to see a man come to his door, Jake is stunned when the very cute Sam shows up as his plumber. They have an instant attraction to each other but then Jake closes up & turns cold. Sam is thrown for a loop because every time she thinks that Jake is interested in her & she opens herself up he shuts down. Jake's past is sad, he blames himself for the death of his wife & can't seem to get over the grief that still haunts him. Sam tries to help bring him into the future without grief but it's a daunting task. The story went fast, I just wish that it was a little longer than it was, but still a good read & I do recommend it.

Jake poor guy is one fickled man. He is a billionaire mystery writer who moves into small town America. Springs a leak in the basement & has to call in a plumber. In walks Sam as in (Samantha) she is tiny, petite, & just down right beautiful even dressed like a man. Even though he is trying to out run a tragic past he can still see & lust over Sam. I have to say the overall story was good & sometimes funny. Yet, a lot was just heart breaking & so true when grieving goes on. I did enjoy it but Jake's wishy-washiness did drive me crazy at times. What else that was refreshing he wanted to wait to have sex until after marriage once the heavy petting started.

Samantha ("Sam") is a jack of all trades, while Jake is a billionaire author blames himself for something. Both feel an instant attraction when Sam comes to stop Jack's basement from flooding even more, but what is it that's keeping the two apart?

This book is rated pg-13 by my standards and is clean for the most part. The story itself is sweet and faced paced, although Jake blowing hot and cold gets old fast. The ending felt a little cobbled together. I liked and felt for Sam. And for the record, the title is apt, because the seduction of Jake is sweet.

gah!! I like this better than the other books of the series(1,2,3,4)

Sam and Jake.

Jake is a widower writer and Sam is a plumber. Totally different characters.

At times i felt that this story, like the others, lacks something (maybe because Its too short)

. But nevertheless, Sam and Jake made this book enjoyable for me!..both of them are hooking and they have in-dept characteristics.

Not since the first book of the series have I not been totally thrilled with one of her books. Jake and Sam were great characters but like the first in the series I never truly saw the love. I will continue to read more from the author but this one was disappointing to me.

It was a nice story, with many comings and goings, becomes predictable and at the same time felt more of the same ... anyways is a quick lecture to pass time.

This is a good erotic book with short stories. Needs more essence, but is a nice summer read. Could help if there is a lot more chemistry between the characters.
