This is a real page-turner we had no idea there were so many tongues out there. I really liked the textures that were available of the different types of tongues. This book also put to rest at age old question about what color a giraffe tongue really is. I won't tell you I'll let you find out for yourself
What a fun subject for a board book! A types of animal tongues are featured and pages offer a touch and feel experience for readers. Several push and pull flaps introduce motion to the book's illustrations.
I can't wait to read this book aloud! Must see/read/feel!

Adorable! This was the anchor of my storytime about tongues. :) I wish it were bigger, but I just told the kiddos to scoot in close. They loved it, and I thought it was fun, too. In addition, all copies of the book checked out immediately after storytime, so you know it was a hit!
Mommy says I always jump when anything "licks" and I love to touch this book. She enjoys reading it to me when I've got energy but she wants me to start winding down.
