By exploring the lives of the Bible’s most remarkable characters, Pastor Sheryl Brady shows you how to dig deep within yourself to find the strength to overcome life’s challenges and succeed.
With this empowering, transformative workbook, you’ll find the strength to overcome your greatest challenges by exploring the lives of the Bible’s most remarkable characters.
We, too, can learn how to dig deep within ourselves and find the strength to overcome and succeed in any situation.
Some of the most talented, faithful, and amazing people in the Bible didn’t know they had it in them, either—not until God revealed to them the truth about their identity and abilities, often in the midst of perilous trials and challenging situations.
Like these heroes of Christianity, all of us have untapped talents, unclaimed abilities, and unknown gifts waiting to be discovered inside us. Pastor Sheryl Brady believes God wants us to peel away the layers we try to hide behind, dissolve the excuses we use as camouflage, and reveal the beauty of our true selves. By using the companion book You Have It In You! and working through the exercises in this workbook, Brady encourages us to reconsider the way we see ourselves and to reframe our own understanding of how we got there.
With this workbook, you will discover the answer to the Do you know what you’re made of? And more importantly, do you want to find the many strengths lying dormant inside you, just waiting to be discovered? It is Brady’s hope that you will be inspired to reconsider the challenges you currently face as opportunities for self-discovery and faith-enrichment. Once you have completed this workbook, you will have a new perspective on all that God has brought you through, and a greater awareness of all that you’ve accomplished and endured.

The subtitle to this book is Empowered To Do The Impossible. After reading this uplifting book you will agree that the title is an exact description of what the author writes about. I have to admit that I had not heard of the author of this book until reading the book description. It looked like a book that would encourage the reader and it definitely is.
I gave this book 4/5 stars. I think the biggest principle I learned was to be ready when the Lord lead s you to do something. You can be ready by realizing that He will give you the strength to accomplish whatever the task is He has called you to do. Although there were great personal stories and practical principles, this book just did not have any big wow for me. I thought it was too wordy sometimes but it still is a good book to read when you need some encouragement for a task that seems overwhelming.
I would like to thank the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.
Great book. I may have glossed over this book in the store assuming it was a book for women.. Not sure why. The purple color? Anyway, it was recommended to me from my brother as I've been struggling with direction and faith to stay in the fight when times are tough. Brady does an awesome job of taking stories of the great men of the Bible, what they endured, how they became great heroes through the grace of God and overcame great and impossible feats. Usually people who people were least expected to be heroes. God has a habit of picking nobodies and making them somebodies! Very uplifting book. Great perspective into the lives of the men of the Bible and comparing the adversity they faced into our modern day situation. Highly recommend!
Pastor Brady is one of my favorite pastors because she is a dynamic teacher. She has such a clear and bold way of presenting the scripture and its real-life application. She also has a beautiful sense of humor. In this book, she presented several Bible stories in a wonderful, paraphrased, and easy-to-understand way while making the connection with some of her personal experiences. This book was relatable and inspiring.
Taking a deep soul searching look at the calling God has placed on my life and my efforts to run the other way. This book helps bring the charge to a right now place
