Either this was just one big troll or a serious false alarm but these two books just don't exist. What a waste.

Original opinion.
While I don't hate Alloy exactly, I honestly hate when they revive their series when it originally finished. It's apparently in all their writers like L.J. Smith, Cecily von Ziegesar and even Sara Shepard contract that, they have the legal right to continue their series, whether the author wants to or not. I honestly thought this series was safe but after 10 years, apparently not.
Still, the original ending was left open, I think. who knows, maybe it's good.
I fulfilled a childhood goal over the past month by finishing this series.
I had one of the books from this series on my shelves when I was in elementary school and just started to enjoy reading. I vowed to obtain all six physical copies before I started reading any of it. Unfortunately that did not happen and I'm now in my late 20s, resorted to reading the entire thing on an e-reader. Did not expect to find that it's incomplete 🥲
I wish there was a way to contact Carrie Asai, not to pester her to continue writing, but simply to ask (if she'd be okay with sharing) how she planned to finish the story. My childhood self needs closure 😩
I really liked the series...until the last two books. I sincerely hope the writer(s) read the abysmal reviews on Goodreads and got inspired to really fix the story up in the next book. And make it GOOD.
Please, please no more every-single-female-character (except for mom) is untrustworthy! That really annoyed me.
Please don't let us down! I really am looking to this and the publication date...
