Working for the Forest Service, Tanner Bohlman knows the dangers of Idaho's untamed lands and rivers. It's certainly no place for a dainty woman like widowed mother Zoe Lawton, even if she is a capable marine biologist. But Zoe is new in town and could use a guide. When Tanner discovers her young son has never been fishing, he quickly becomes a father figure. Suddenly one sweet child and a woman with more grit than he gave her credit for are tugging on this man's heartstrings. And before long, he's questioning his vow never to love again.

Another enjoyable book by Leigh Bale. This one finds us with Zoe coming to town to work on a project and then planning to go back to the big city and her job there. Tanner is to work with her but finds himself spending time with her small son and enjoying the time they spend together. This was an enjoyable story.
I enjoyed this book. It was a fast read and a very interesting story. I enjoyed that it was a story of outdoors and I really liked how it was a story on protecting fish. I found it very fun and interesting to read
This is a sweet love story of a widow and her young son who move to a small town for a summer project.
While there, they meet a forest ranger who has been burned by love before.
Through work and some social interactions, Tanner, the forest ranger, comes to care for Jonah, the boy, and his mother. But, Tanner hasn't talked to God in a while and his faith has lapsed.
By the end, Tanner has reconciled with God and he and the widow have decided to take the leap of faith and risk their hearts on love again.
