My 1st grader loved this book. It has beautiful illustrations and she loves the mystery. I liked the inclusion of historical elements like the orient express and the roaring 20s. The Thea Sisters themselves are not very well developed characters and I rarely knew which was which when they were talking and interacting. The secondary characters were more interesting. However, I recommend it because it is visually engaging and it keeps the kiddos guessing about the mystery. Plus, it left me wanting to learn more about the Orient Express which is always the mark of a good book - leaves you wanting to read more, learn more.

The book made me feel adventurous and thrilled. The plot of the story revolves around the mouselets taking the Orient Express and safe guarding the Veil of Light from being stolen. The theme shows how the mouselets work beautifully as a team and crack a mystery together. The children at SFPL Chinatown branch seem to love this series, as well as many of the children I have encountered at other branches, and I finally understand why. I couldn't put the book down until I had finished it, what excitement and brilliance in word choice but especially the creation of these stunning mouse characters who take on human characteristics and wardrobe. Hats off to Geronimo and Thea Stilton.

The most unexpected twists had actually came from this book. I was really blown away by how it all fits the current situation before resolving the pieces together.

This is the thirteenth book in the Thea Stilton series. This book takes the Thea Sisters on the Orient Express, from Paris to Istanbul, along with the newly found and prizes Veil of Light, a famouse wedding dress. But there is talk that the Cat Burglar is set on stealing the dress while the dress is on the train on route to Istanbul. Can the girls figure out who the Cat Burglar is before he/she steals the dress?

Very cool book about the Orient Express and the popularity of the train during the Roaring Twenties. Lots of history present.

Five svelte young female mice solve a mystery on board the Orient Express. My almost-six-year-old daughter loved it. I didn't mind reading it with her in the least. The story invites the reader to help solve the mystery. They have used different fonts to highlight words--helps with reading and all that jazz. And it's nice to have an action story with no fairies and no princesses.

This is a mystery about the Veil of Light. One of the passengers on the train is attempting to steal it. You figure out the clues and decide which of the six culprits is the cat burglar. I liked it because I enjoyed solving the mystery.
