I rushed through this book looking for the solution to high blood pressure, which I was beginning to have. I believe it is now solved because my b/o is normal most of the time.
Along the way I learned that magnesium gets rid of headaches and is good for blood vessels, but I can't tell you why.
After reading what I needed, I got some Magnesium with potassium from Life Extension vitamin company. I take 250 mg 2 to 3 times a day, and it began working almost immediately. People vary.
I also learned that beta blockers deplete magnesium and yet people take them for high b/p and in time they need more and more medicine until they can't really handle the medicine and go off it. It is not recommended that you go off your medicine but to keep an eye o it, and then you will be able to lower the dosage and perhaps go off it entirely.
The author claimed that it begins to work almost immediately but may take up to 6 months for the best results.
Update. For some reason this formula quit working for me. And yeah I was on a very low sodium diet I even quit putting sodium on anything and quit eating prepared TV dinner Then I heard a CARDITONE. I bought some from amazon And it took about a month but it begin working very well. I continue to keep my salt level down. When I told my doctor about CARDITONE he said the thousand reviews on amazon are fake. Didn't think so, but I wondered. Then 1 day my blood Pressure wit up And for days it was up. I thought maybe the doctor is correct. Then I went through my daily vitamin bottles and found out that carter tongue was not in it or in them. I began taken CARDITONE again and my blood pressure went down. Everyone is different.
I never suspected that taking a mineral supplement like magnesium could make such a difference. After only a few days I have already noticed a lessening of cramping in my calves and toes. I also feel less anxious. I believe it is helping to lower my blood pressure too, although I haven’t checked. Thanks for the book.
This book gave me some additional knowledge that I am able to do something with. I recently weaned myself off of a blood pressure medication that had Sulfa in it. I am allergic to medication that contains Sulfa in it, yet my doctors failed to read my medical records. Good thing I recalled that it contains Sulfa otherwise I would have been up a creek and doctors would have been in deep water with my daughter for prescribing that medication. I am all for taking supplements, changing my diet, lifestyle in order to knock out the hypertension they tell me I have. This is a start for me at my age of 67 years young I would rather go off all the medications and opt for natural ones then be slowly damaged with prescription medication.
Every since menopause, 2 years ago, I have been having a hard time regulating my blood sugar and blood pressure. The doctor have tried giving me over 6 different medications but the side effects was too much.
Soon I went cold turkey. No more pharma. I found but and now I'm resting and BPO d sugar and pressure is down. Yea!
Soy hipertenso tipo1 y estaba buscando más información para entender la enfermedad, su alcance y cómo mejorar los síntomas . Haré pruebas en mi mismo y completaré la descripción
This book was a brief summary of magnesium’s influence on high bloom pressure. I feel that it could have been a little more in depth with solutions, but otherwise it was a short, enjoyable read.
Written clearly and authoritatively, as well as being supported by great documentation, this book reveals the all important role magnesium plays in defeating hypertension.
Opens our eyes to the critical role this vital mineral plays in our cardiovascular and indeed our overall health. Shame on the medical profession for failing to adopt it as a simple and non-invasive part of a sound health protocol. I am already taking it. This book is well-written and well-grounded in the science behind magnesium supplementation.
