Finishing the series int he middle and so glad I read all the books! These brothers fall hard and fast and Alex is no exception. Although the woman he falls for is not interested in anything more then some fun but on her rules. Olivia is fun and sassy and works so well with Alex, thought it took her long enough to figure it out! It was also great to read about the brothers working together, they may fool around with each other but are there when any of them needs the others! A definite must read series and all the books are out so no excuse!

shark with numbers and eats people for lunch at the negotiating table. She had bad experience before so she never trust any men and never give relationships to protect herself. Until she met Alex. Technically, they love each other from the first sight, this story was super sweet, and I love it so much!!!
“I’ve dreamed about getting you naked since the day I met you.”
They had each other at ‘Hello’. They had arguments because Alex wanted a relationship but Olivia didn’t offer. But Alex never wanted to give up because he knew Olivia’d affected him in a way unlike any other woman he knew. It wasn’t just the physical thing, although he’d take her to bed the next minute if the chance presented itself. Everything related to Olivia was different. It’s something deeper. Something he had never believed could happen in just a few seconds.
He probably looked like a drowned rat while she looked bedtime gorgeous in a pink robe with no makeup on her face and her hair falling softly to her shoulders.
“You said just sex, right?” he demanded.
“What?” She rubbed her face. “What are you talking about?”
“You said no emotional involvement. I heard you.” His cock was reminding him that it was ready to go to work. “Just sex. So, okay. I’m here for the sex.”
Poor Alex, he felt things for this woman he’d never felt for any other and he wanted her in his life. But she’d set up barriers and he had yet to figure out how to tear them down. So despite the emotions tearing at him, he’d made up his mind to play by her rules.
And there’s happy ending at the end, the car accident made everything clearly for Olivia, she decided to build the leap of faith to Alex and their future, and I really love this one.
After I read the last one about Josh and Ness’s story, I admired how Desiree Holt’s writing, her writing was super mature and i had to admit I love reading her books so far!!!!♥️♥️♥️

Alex McMann has been given a chance to get a contract for McMann Brothers that has the potential to take their company to a whole new level. First, Alex is going to have to get past the team that Concordia has put in charge of the project, and one member of that team could threaten it all. Olivia (Livy) D’Angelo is all business and all woman all at the same time. There is instant and powerful chemistry between Livy and Alex, but do they dare act on it and risk their careers and their hearts?
I loved the first book in this series, Erected, so much that I was sure it would be my favorite of the series. I have to admit that I think I may have enjoyed this one even more. Once again the author gives us characters that are easy to relate to. I liked them immediately (even when they weren’t always acting very likable), and I was rooting hard for these two characters.
This is book two in this series, and you could certainly read this one if you haven’t read the first book, but I believe you will have a better appreciation for some of the characters, in particular the McMann brothers, if you read this series in order. Each of the first two books is just over 100 pages which makes them a great length and definitely worth reading them both together.
Hammered is filled with plenty of drama, a touch of suspense, steamy passion, and tender romance. The first two books have given us the stories of two of the three McMann brothers and I am looking forward to Tyler’s story.

Hammered by Desiree Holt is the second book in the Erector Set series. This series should be read in order because it does build on the previous book, no pun intended. Alex McMann runs the business end of things for the construction company he owns with his brothers. He used to be quite the player but now he wants to settle down and he thinks he has found the perfect woman for the job. Enter in Olivia D’Angelo, the CFO of one of his client companies. Confident, cool, and sexy, she is a walking wet dream to Alex. Their chemistry may be off the charts but Olivia isn’t interested in Mr. Forever. She only wants Mr. Right Now. However, Alex refuses to let her go without a fight and if he has to fight dirty, he will.
The passionate nature of both characters kept me turning the pages. I liked Alex’s vulnerability and his classiness. He also has a very caring heart that had me falling in love as I read about him. The amazing connection and love between the characters left me craving more, and I loved how Ms. Holt combined such a wonderful story and steamy sex to make a book I could not put down. I am looking forward to seeing which brother falls next in this series and meeting the woman who claims his heart.

Hammered is book two in the Erector Set series by Desiree Holt! I loved the first book Erected and now, I fell in love with Hammered! It can be read by itself, but I feel you need to start with book one to understand the series' premise.
Alex McMann runs the business side of things for the construction company he owns with his brothers. When he goes to a client meeting to pitch a bid on a new project, he meets Olivia D'Angelo. Seeing her makes his heart skip a beat! Sexy, but self-assured, should it matter she is the CFO for the client's company?? Alex goes after her anyway!
Olivia is drawn to Alex as well, but she has sworn off relationships. She's not interested in settling down, but she is interested in right now! No feelings just sex. Only Alex wants more and he is not willing to just walk away. He vows to fight for what he wants, and what he wants is Olivia!
I loved this book! Alex and Olivia both have their hang ups. It makes them real! Alex was so very thoughtful. These two had a fascinating connection and it made me want to read more about them! I am looking forward to reading about Tyler next!!
