Being a lifelong University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball fan I really enjoyed this book. There is a chapter on just about everything related to UK basketball, including it’s well known coaches over the years like John Calipari, Rick Pitino, Joe B. Hall, and Adolph Rupp.
My awesome husband, Joe Cox, is also the author of this book, and despite my obvious bias, it is an excellent read! Joe and Ryan highlight the eccentricities, the amazing games and people, and the fantastic talent that have made Kentucky a basketball powerhouse. Whether or not you're a basketball fan, you should read this book.
This book was a great overview of KY Basketball History. The best thing was the overview of technology and the way Kentucky Basketball has been communicated throughout the course of its history. From the radio to videos and from the newspapers to blogs, Kentucky's history has evolved for its time.
