And honest and sobering account of what it means to “hold the rope” for not only our Christian brothers and sisters, but also the many people we may encounter from day to day and introduce to the grace of God. Filled with touching testimonies, helpful Gospel-sharing accounts, and scripture, this book was an enjoyable read.

As a Christian how can you draw other people to Jesus? Jeff Neal and Shonn Keels use practical stories and how-to information combined with Scripture to help readers learn to have a heart for the lost in HOLD THE ROPE (http://amzn.to/QiXkIg).
In the opening pages, they write, “I know I cannot save anyone, but I can show them the way. All members of the body of Christ are called to hold the rope and get others close to Jesus. In what way are you holding the rope and getting others close to Jesus? All of us are called to be participants in getting others close to Jesus.” (Page 7)
Throughout the book, these authors use the metaphor of holding a rope to speak about getting people close to Jesus. The chapters cover different methods such as relationships, life, love, interruptions and prayer.
Every Christian will gain encouragement and insight from reading the pages of this well-done book. I recommend HOLD THE ROPE: HAVING A HEART FOR THE LOST.
