Kip is sent on a mission to explore the planet Arboria, and while the robots he meets there appear at first to be friendly, they may have something more sinister in mind.
Book five of this series of Sci Fi for younger male readers (Male in particular although as in any book it is accessible by everyone, it is just heavily marketed towards males in this case) and it throws another classic sci-fi cliche in the mix with the Robots - average read in the series, which as said on a previous review is also average. The youngsters may enjoy it, but even they will possibly find it all blending in together after a while and pretty unmemorable.
This 'Space Scout' series is consistently good, delivering a space-age, high tech adventure in every book. Suitable for emerging and reluctant readers, there is enough to challenge the imagination and reading power of each kid, without being an overwhelming or complex read. Young Space Scout Kip Kirby, and his loyal sidekick and protector Finbar (half Arctic Wolf), land on Arboria because it seems an ideal Earth 2 planet. Instead, they must use their wits to survive and escape!
