A life filled with fast money and violence lands twenty-three-year-old Candice Holmes in a witness protection program designed to keep witnesses safe. When Candice finds out that no one is capable of saving her from the wrath of the ruthless family she is scheduled to testify against, she finds herself on the run. With nowhere to hide, she ends up fleeing to New York City where she is introduced to Daddy who owns a house where little girls are doing big things. Candice soon realizes that the street life she left behind is nothing compared to what goes on at Daddy's House. Between doing what it takes to survive and hiding her identity, Candice conquers one pitfall after another. Soon, all things come to an end when she goes toe-to-toe with the vicious woman who has the ability to put her six feet under, or sell her to the highest bidder.
Yea, yea I know why should a girl my age be reading a book with a half naked female on the front of it. But you shouldn't judge the book due to its cover. Daddy house is a fiction book that put inspiration into many people lives. Daddy house is about a 23 year old girl (Candice) who gets caught up in some drama between herself and her family. Candice was put in the witness protection program and still wasn't safe. Candice then realized no one could help her but her self. Daddy house was very interesting and an inspiration to my life. Reading this book was like watching television and relating to the characters on set. I enjoyed Daddy house due to the fact that it had me wanting more and guessing to what was next. This book is highly recommended to teen females in my opinion. Yes, this book is a little graphic but it tells you everything that you don't want to do and shouldn't do as a young girl. Daddy house was a good book that had me thinking about how life is going to treat me, as I get older. This book was given to me as a gift and finished within 2-3 days. I loved the book but didn't like how the mom treated her own seed. Then Candice mom didn't tell Candice father (daddy) that he was the father until seconds before she killed him. Candice then realized that she done did everything a father and daughter done with their father instead they did everything they weren't suppose to do. Have you ever read a book that made you realize that life is real and shouldn't be played as a game?
This book was Crazy. Everybody was so shady I'm not sure if I was actually routing for any of them to do well. The ending was kind of comical under the circumstances. I enjoyed this book and it kept me on my toes.
It was pretty good , i didn’t like how ditzy the main character was it seemed like she truly lacked any sort of accountability for why her life is the way it is . & the ending was whack
It's said when you do wrong it'll come back to you and that was surely the case for Candice. She constantly found herself in one situation to the next. From the beginning Candice was fighting to stay safe. I was wondering why Velma was so pressed about getting a hold of Candice. After seeking help from her cousin Tracey, things didn't get much better. Candice was introduced to Daddy thinking she could map out a way to save and get her life back on track. The lies Candice told were finally catching up to her and not in a good way. She was wrong for lying to save her own behind and Velma's actions became understandable. Velma and Daddy's history was a shocker but the way they both were living shouldn't have been a surprise. Things began to heat up once Velma and Candice were finally face to face. Daddy got more than he expected and learned a secret way too late. I couldn't believe Candice managed to keep her lies going without a care in the world. Rich gave Candice a dose of her own medicine and showed the consequences for her doing so much wrong towards others.
This book was an ok read. Candice was a mess but not as much as her mother Big V. Big V was a true thug and had everyone on lock. Candice was so wrong the way she let her Mother did all of that time in jail and she know her Mother was not the one that the Feds were looking for. I think she got what she deserved in the end when Rich did what he did to her. Like her mother said when you do wrong it comes back on you.
I think this would have been 5 stars for me, but there were way too many spelling errors and other mistakes. Alot of those would've been fixed with spell check. I was hooked from the very beginning of this book and loved the crazy ending!!
I think this was an interesting read. Candice was wrong for setting her mother up. She should have went to Agent Barnes from the start. It was disgusting after finding out that Daddy was Candice real father and she was in love with him.
This book was really good , with the drama and all the twist and turns I loved it ....Although the ending totally sucked after all Candice been through I was sure this was going to be her break but if course not !
this was a very good read. I was like a crackhead smoking crack for the very first time. I could not put it down. it was a page turner and I was hooked. I enjoyed it and I appericate this book so much.
I loved this book. It was just incredible. Every secret just led to another and it was an easy read. If your interested in a family drama MUST READ!!!!
