So I actually read this not knowing it was the third book of a series..... So I added a star. The story is actually a really interesting take on the whole demon angel, human world. I found that I liked the story but for some reason it took me forever to get through! It was just missing that spark that keeps you interested and makes you never want to put it down. The relationship between Tristan and Georgia just wasn't gradual or exciting... It was just blah.... There were no exceptional moments where they found love or had any great romantic moments together... It just happened somehow.... And all of a sudden at the end after she finds out what and who he is.... Bam it's just ok... Even though two seconds before she was scared shitless.... The ending was horrible... It's like she just wanted to get it done. It just happened.... And kind of dumb..... But .... Ultimately I do like it... I just wish it was everything that it easily could have been ....

I liked this one better than the previous book in the series, I think because I was able to relate to the self doubt of the heroine. Very good chemistry in this one.

Setting: HOT! Magazine slick, modern glass offices & mailroom; her apartment;

One Sentence Summary: Demon falls in love, gaining his soul, giving up his quest to take over the world, in exchange for love with his lovely, voluptuous (though size 2 models think she’s fat), caring, sexy, loving, lusting assistant.

Characters:
Georgia Sullivan aka Peaches: assistant to the editor – hired by Tristan for Finola… but with her demotion, became Tristan’s assistant; very good at her job; quirky, goth, unique style for her full curves – that doesn’t fit in with the fashion style of the magazine; she has a crush on Tristan, and is flustered when he flirts / teases her; working at HOT because high paying job needed so she could care for her grandmother, suffering from Alzheimers;

Tristan McIntyre: head editor of HOT; Satan’s assignment – take over the human world via the fashion industry; but he is distracted by his assistant (open scene of book is him watching her as she bends over to entice the dog/hellhound back into the office); and he struggles between indulgence/lust and deeper feelings for her;

Gabriel / Elton: Demon Intelligence Agency – in mailroom, to convert demons (not kill them anymore); they take Finola – who begins by trying to beguile mailroom staff into selling their soul, to being a redeemed demon, and human & nice; hmmm

Finola White: demoted to mailroom – to see if there are any other demon reformers there… and ends up reformed herself;

: hellhound; humorous; at end suggests to Satan that they take over the dog show circuit when they fail in fashion;

Summary:
Sweet story of how a woman finds her confidence as she gives her heart to a demon, who finds that there is more to lust than just sex… both fight their own selves to find each other… ahhhh

The fourth book in the Demon Intelligence Agency series is a fun and fascinating read.

Georgia is the personal assistant to Tristan at HOT magazine and she is constantly fighting her attraction to him and she doesn’t take his flirting with her serious, because she doesn’t believe she is HOT material. Tristan is helping Satan with trying to take over the human realm through the beauty industry. There are a few things getting in his way, his attraction to Georgia and a few employees in the mailroom.

All the characters are fun and easily related to, especially Georgia and Tristan. The sparks between them fly off the pages as he tries to seduce her and she tries to fight it. Reading about the courtship between the two was an enjoyable ride as the author conveyed all the emotions and chemistry of the attraction. The sex scenes were steamy and well written.

The plot is well balanced with emotional and romantic elements as well as intrigue and humor. The author has created a quirky paranormal world that is fun and adventurous. The reader is kept laughing with snarky dialogue and humorous scenes and the reader is constantly surprised by the intrigue and twists in this smooth flowing story that keeps the reader entertained from beginning to end.

While the story is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone book. I have not read the first three yet, but I had no problem picking up the story line and I have definitely added them to my pile of books. The ending hints that there may be future books in this series or at least related to this series. If so, I will definitely be reading them.

Finola White is out and Tristan McIntyre is in to head up the demonic takeover of the human race through the fashion industry and specifically through HOT! magazine where he’s also in charge. However, Tristan is having a hard time concentrating on the takeover when his curvy quirky personal assistant is consuming his lust-driven thoughts. Well, he is a lust demon after all, but this obsession with Georgia Sullivan is something he’s not used to and it’s driving him crazy. Georgia is also having a hard time resisting her handsome sexy boss, but she believes he is just amusing himself when he flirts with her. If she didn’t need the money she makes at HOT! to support her grandmother she’d leave in a heartbeat before her heart gets broken.

I was wondering how I was going to like Tristan after reading about him in the other two Devilishly books, but it turns out I liked him and Georgia very much. This story is a very enjoyable read with humor, paranormal shenanigans going on and hot steamy goodness. While the story wraps up pretty well, the ending has me wondering if the series will continue or if this was just a trilogy. It can easily end with this one, but a slight opening was left to expand into another book or more if the author chooses.

Tristan, the new top editor at Hot Magazine is a demon of lust and is now in charge of the demon takeover through the fashion industry that Satan has planned. He’s thrown for a loop by his attraction and obsession with his personal assistant, and doesn’t see that it’s taken his focus away from the takeover.

Georgia is a voluptuous plus-size woman who is in lust with her boss, but can’t believe this great looking guy who could have any woman would be interested in her, especially when surrounded by fashion models.

Light-hearted and humorous tale as two likeable characters fumble over their thoughts and feelings while two opposing factions want their cooperation. The characters and situations are definitely fun, even though Alzheimers with a secondary character is addressed.

There is a great deal of self-doubt on Georgia’s part, and while realistic, it does get old and makes the story drag a bit. But when things work out – and hey, it’s a romance so you know it will – it makes it that much sweeter. I do like the resolution, which is quite a bit different than the first book.

So....I was just really confused by this book. The first part of it was paranormal romance - girl works as personal assistant at a fashion magazine, girl's boss is attracted to her but can't figure out why, turns out girls boss is a demon who is in charge of taking over the world and capturing souls via the fashion industry. Girl and demon hook up and begin to fall in love. Graphic scenes between the two ensue (he is a demon of lust after all.)

And then....then....the ending. All of a sudden there is an angel who is busy saving souls in the mail room or the magazine (part of the Demon Intelligence Agency). Okay, fine. But...but...the end read like a Christian romance novel focusing on saving souls. I was just confused and it seemed like two separate books....and I just couldn't seem to reconcile them together.

I'm reading this book and confused about the picture on the cover. Did the editor read the book? The people on the cover look nothing like the description in the book. I think Georgia should be played by "babygirl" (sorry, I can't think of your name ma'am) from Criminal Minds. You know the girl, the computer genius with great style. This character seems to me to be her ALL OVER. Or at least the character she plays in the show.
I love this kind of book but would love them more if the women and men were not so often depicted with perfect smiles and bodies. Just once I'd like to read a book where the heroine has an adorable crooked smile. Or the hero is slightly out of shape but trying to impress her anyway. Lol why can't this be a thing?

Tristan is the editor of HOT! magazine. It's one of the biggest fashion magazines available today. They are cutting edge. Georgie Sullivan is his personal assistant. She has a style all her own and it doesn't really jell with that of HOT! magazine. The terrific thing is Tristan and Georgie work well together.

I really don't want to share much of this story because it's so unique! Superb writing and wonderful characters, you will adore this book. I zipped through it in no time. Humorous and contemporary, the romance here is HOT HOT HOT! Ms Love really out did herself with this one.

I didn't find any issues.

I really enjoyed this book. Pure brain candy with a bit of lust and sex mixed in. I would have given it a higher rating except for the abrupt ending. It was obvious from the start that the main Demon character was going to be redeemed or saved in some way, but....it happened and was solved in four short paragraphs. Really? Four? That's all you could give us? A great build up, a quick snafu causing problems....and then four cheap wrap up paragraphs. Still like the book, but feel cheated a bit.

This is what I like to call. A fun little romp! Sex scenes are moist! I enjoyed the chemistry when Georgia wasn't so self conscious. felt a little quick in the end but Cute
