To be clear: I'm rating this book based on they way it was written and how it kept me captivated page after page. I'm not necessarily agreeing with the displayed views on Middle-Eastern politics or the events on 9/11 by the author.
This is an extraordinary tale of bravery and perseverance. Zamar is clearly multitalented if she's capable of specialising in informatics, physical combat and literary endeavours after all that. A very nice book to read, however much it gives you an insight into things you probably simply don't want to know: the extent of hate and cruelty in our world.
Fantastic, gripping insightful book about events in the Middle East that are often gruesome in this contemporary but thrilling ride. A bit of a battle reading it in the French as one's grasp of idioms has evaporated and some just seem completely new, perhaps as a result of the environment of the telling.
This book is full of illogical situations. I didn't even understand if this is based on true events or not. I felt like I have read a book that is not complete. Something is missing in the chain of events. I gave it 1 star because I cannot choose zero
