This is part of a continuing series by Amazon Bestselling Author, Mary Rundle – reading the previous titles is advised. Readers will enjoy catching up with members of the Blackwood Pack and reading about what is happening to them as the pack does what it does best ̶ caring for one another and helping shifters everywhere.

Barely surviving Arald’s prison, Theo’s luck has finally changed. Discovering an unknown passion for cooking, he’s settled into his new life with his fiancé at the Blackwood Pack. He’s excited about tying the knot with Norm in the company of all their friends. It’s everything Norm promised him during their bleakest days of incarceration and he doesn’t think he can be any happier.

Waking up at Arald’s, Norm's sole mission in life is to help his Fated Mate, Theo, survive the horrors inflicted on them both. Now free, he sets about to make all of Theo’s dreams come true, including the most important one, the cub his mate so dearly wants.

Smokey heads North to pick up Kevin’s parents and deliver them to the Blackwood Pack before hurrying back to LA. Easy-peasy…right? That’s what Smokey thinks but then, what is supposed to be a simple mission, turns into a race to avoid human hunters who have already shot Kevin’s father. Using his skills honed as a secret agent, Smokey manages to elude the hunters, heal the father’s wound and then successfully transport them to safety only to find the Fates have a surprise waiting for him.

After a series of misunderstandings and then with some help from Jackson, the pack’s Alpha, Theo and Norm finally accept Smokey as their mate and set upon a journey to unite the three of them. Discovering truths about their past lives leads to uncovering long-kept secrets that end up bonding Theo, Norm and Smokey together, giving each more love and happiness than they ever knew existed.

Astounding surprises, rare and unique gifts, an action-packed mission, and many unexpected twists and turns make this passionate love story by Mary Rundle impossible to put down once you’ve read the first page.

A few years ago, I wrote my first book, Dire Warning. Readers loved it and I was on my way to chronicle the Blackwood Pack, seven brothers who are gay wolf shifters in search of their fated mates—stories about love at first sight with twists and turns, angst and humor, romance and adventure and, of course, happy endings. Since then, the pack has expanded, allowing more stories to be told and different paranormals to be included. The series has become, as one reader described it…an “Epic Saga.”
Now, twelve books later, Lord Manetu has just been published. I love the M/M paranormal genre because it gives my imagination a lot of territory in which to roam. My mind can really run wild and come up with some amazing stuff when it doesn’t have to stay inside the box. My story ideas come to me as if they were being channeled by my characters, all of whom I love (except for a few villains). They are eager to recount their lives, loves and adventures, and are not reluctant to let it all out when it comes to revealing steamy details. My writing style is free-wheeling and uninhibited and my readers tell me they love it that way; that it makes them feel like they’re right in on the action and a member of the Blackwood Pack.
I live in the Northeast and love the beautiful change of seasons, my husband, and our quirky calico cat, though not necessarily in that order. I read a lot (good for the mind) and love gardening (good for the soul). And I’m always happy to hear from my readers and can be reached through Facebook, my private Facebook Group, Twitter, Instagram, or my website.

This Book twelve Of The Blackwood Pack Book Series

Okay look when I started this series I really liked the premise of it . Although all SEVEN brothers being gay brought up in a straight household with a homofobic Alpha father . And a strong but silent beloved mother who did push back when the father went to far. Although she knew how crule he had become with their oldest children. She still stayed with the abusive husband and had plenty of more children with him yeah . This series has become so convoluted that it's ridiculous every new book there's a new couple with a new power . But the people I want to see get their mates are pushed aside for a new character . I'm not sure what will happen with this series . But there just to many characters to remember from one book to the next .

Lord Manetu Blackwood Pack Book 12

I like how well each book flows from one to the next installment while leaving no gaps in the love between the established mates and then the exciting meet and greet of new mates. Loved meeting Norm and Theo third mate and the tantalizing zinger of Khan's mate. This book is packed with action and suspense. This book is the greatest by Mary Rundle.

A great addition to the Blackwood Pack series

This has been a wonderful series and Lord Manetu is no exception. There are lots of moving parts and story lines and this book, even more than the others, really relies on the earlier books.

It was so good to see Theo and Norm find Smokey and get (at least closer to) their HEA. Still so much going on with Kahn, Thea’s family, the other Evans boys, and so much more. Highly recommended.

Audiobook Review:
Overall – 5
Performance – 5
Story – 5

This series just keeps getting better and better!

This series is best read in order. Like the previous books, Lord Manetu is another great story in this long-running, complicated and interesting world. You really do need to listen to these books in order.

Nick J. Russo has been performing all of the audiobooks in this series and he is doing a fantastic job. There are many different characters, with many different accents, and he gives each of them a unique voice so that it’s easy to tell who is speaking. I can’t say enough good things about this audiobook.

I know that this review sounds like a carbon copy of my review of the previous book in this series but there’s really not a lot I can say about the book other than what the blurb says. Just know that this was another very compelling addition to the Blackwood Pack saga. There were surprises and some really tense moments that kept me on the edge of my seat and I loved listening to this story.

I don’t know how many books Mary Rundle has planned for this series but as long as she keeps writing them, I’ll keep reading them!

A copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request and my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author or narrator.

First of all, this was a fun read as long as you were not looking for a literary work Secondly, I am past ready for this series to end, but it is clear it is not. Start to wrap up one thing and two more are introduced. While fun, the entire series reads like a teen, pop drama - full of teenage-style emotional angst, that appears with outbursts and then disappears in a hot minute. Love is instant and solves all. There are now way too many characters networked in and what is with the nicknames?
Almost every character has a nickname or code name. There are over 30 main characters with two names each. So annoying and the holes - such as when Smokey aka Golden Sun aka Gabriel Hamilton "realized Norm was a master Dom, who could easily keep him on edge." Umm hello? Norm who is 19 or so? spent 5 years in a cage? That Norm? The one who, we are later told, received verbal lessons on how to Dom from his guardian? Don't mind me - I am just so annoyed to find myself liking this and at the same time pissed off with the style and gaps.

Man, the longer this series goes, the more convoluted things get. This one also had a ridiculous bit of the plot that barely made sense. Eventually, some more explanation really needs to happen in this action-packed drama. And now I'm frustrated that more new characters were introduced in this book, which means the next book will focus on that coming relationship instead of it being about a character we already know well finding their fated mate.

Love this epic series!

Mary Rundle just keeps getting better! Truly amazing world building with unlimited potential. The way each story builds upon each other, the wonderful characters that are so beautifully developed, the intricate weave of relationships, the mystery, family and connection that are created is mind blowing and exquisite. It was the cover that had me reading Dire Warnings four years ago and ever since then I been hooked on the Blackwood Pack. You'll find it all hear tears, laughter, silliness, adventure, mystery, sexy times, injustice with justice winning, family, friends, villains, heroes, magic, spirits, shifters, gods, dragons and more and most important Love. I highly recommend reading this series.

Questions Answered, New Questions Posed

This long-awaited addition to the series covers a lot of ground. There are some new branches to the storyline and some new characters, including the brief appearance of a mystery man. I suspect that we may hear more about him in future volumes. There are more unresolved storylines than in previous books, which makes me think that the next book will be more of a part two of this book. I hope that the next book will come out sooner than this one, as I can't wait to see where the stories go from here.

I like it, but not that much.
I'm looking forward to Theo and Norm's story, though, and finding out who their third was. I felt like the author forgot about them, and towards the end of the book she said, Oh, right that's Theo and Norm's book.
I waited 20 chapters for them to meet and it was all wrapped up in 5 chapters.
Instead of the main couple they were an afterthought.

There's a bigger story 😉

I loved the bigger story that is going on along side the main love story of this book especially. Just like life we are all trying to live our dream or be a part of our community that is always connected to more. We just don't always see or feel it.

If you are looking for all the things then the Blackwood Pack series has it.

I want more!

I have avidly read every one of the books in this series, I even re read the whole series before reading this 12 th instalment! I love the way the author unfurls each character as they become the focus and still manages to move the overall saga on at a great pace without loosing anything in plot, dialogue or depth. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Wow, so much happened in this book! It’s been awhile since I read the other in this series, so I did struggle at times to follow whose who, but I got there and it was so worth it. Can’t believe I have to wait again for the next book but I look forward to reading it.

Excellent addition to this series. I love, love, love these guys. One of the things I love most about these books is that you get so many points of view. I know some people complain about it being confusing but I love it.
