They met at a wild party and neither forgot the experience. Each came away with a completely different perception of what happened that night when Judith Reid, an ill-at-ease seventeen-year-old college student, captured Dev McAllister's attention. He succeeded in breaking through her icy demeanor, but the minute things heated up, she ran.
Dev tried everything he could think of to get her to go out with him, only to be rejected. He finally admitted defeat and accepted the truth as he saw it. Judith Reid was a snob, no different from all those other women he'd met through his wealthy college roommate. In fact, she was worse because she had him believing in love at first sight, when in reality, she set him up. He swore to even the score no matter how long it too.
Judith, a commercial interior designer, is lured into his grasp with the prospect of remodeling an office building Dev knows holds significance for her. However, Dev's plans backfire. And from the moment he sees her again, he's captivated and he struggles against another empty seduction.

I'll be honest, I didn't think Id enjoy this book but was proven wrong when I liked it a little more than the first. I didn't like Judith in the first book, she was selfish in stringing Paul along. True she didn't encourage his pursuit of her but she didn't stop him either and seemed to welcome his affection up to a point when she should have told him she saw no future for them so he could move on and find someone else. This made me despise her. However I put it aside in order to read this book and didn't forgive her prior actions but let it go and started off a clean slate for her. I liked her and Devin together and felt it was one of those second chances not many get. Their only fault was miscommunication and I'm happy that Devin initiated the meeting. Even though it was with the wrong intentions at first, he realized he was wrong and that's what matters. My favorite scene was the very last chapter. Out of all of Sandys books, this has to be one of my favorite ending scenes. It was adorable and utterly perfect in my eyes. Unique and spot on for Dev's character. I couldn't imagine it any other way.
Great book! I didn't read the first book before reading this one but I was not disappointed. It was a great love story about second chance love. The heat between Devlin and Judith was enough to burn through the writing. I have already went back and re-read parts of the book. I will definitely be picking up the other books in the series. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
First, I have to say this author is new to me, and have not previously read anything written by her. I was offered a free copy of this book in return for an honest review, so I really went into it without any preconceptions. I have to say I am definitely not disappointed in this book. In fact, I am very happy I read it, and sorry I did not start it sooner! My apologies. I loved the way these characters played off of each other, which made it such a wonderful book. I understand why Judith did what she did 10 years prior. That is something that can only be done once, and if she was having second thoughts, well that was her prerogative. I am glad that Devlin had second thoughts about is original plans for revenge, and understood Judith’s feelings. This love as it turns out was meant to be. Which is the best kind. I am really glad I was given the opportunity to read this book. Kudos! Thank you for reading my review.
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me wanting more. Love the author's style. I connect with the characters and felt the emotion, laughed a few times, felt the passion & loved the chase. Loved Hot Dev!
Second book and once again it was LOVE!! Judith and Dev are awesome apart, together, whatever! Super charming, great story and so entertaining! I laughed out loud at the interactions between these two characters! Instantly bought the third...
Liked it well enough. Thought Dev's reason for the whole revenge plot was a bit weak. Judith also had her secrets. Actually enjoyed James riling up Dev the most!
