This leading-edge book is a mind-stretching exploration in manifesting your goals and desires by "remembering" how they exist in the future. The Remembering Process, "reminds" us of how easy it is to control our own realities and sincerely create the lives of our dreams. This book goes beyond the predictable tools of visualizing and reciting affirmations, but taps into a tool that most of us use on a regular basis.
How often do we find ourselves remembering fond memories from our past? Most people would agree that doing that simple action brings on a host of "warm fuzzies." For me personally, when remembering a particularly fond memory, I can hear music that was playing, or smell the scents that were around me. Doing this simple action, changes my mood and raises my vibration almost instantly, and that is what the authors of this book remind the readers of.
Take your goal, whatever it may be, however big or small, and "remember" the outcome as though it already has happened. Remember how your felt when you crossed the finish line. Remember how the new clothes fit you after you lost the weight you've been wanting to get off. Remember how the interior of your brand new car smelled.
What a fantastic tool! I love this technique and have used it several times already with success! This is a great addition to have when trying to raise your vibration/positive outlook on the outcomes of events and relationships in your life. Too often our minds take us down the path of negativity, and we find ourselves trying to control the outcome without much success. Using this simple tool, alleviates a lot of stress and worry, and is actually quite fun! I know I will utilize this tool and continue to fine tune it for years to come.
This book describes a process of thinking, "The Remembering Process", that is aligned with the Law of Attraction and manifestation, for making your "best life" the life you are living now, filled with creativity and peace.
This book was highly inspiring and empowering! I dove right in, and have already shared it with the ones I love! It is loaded with wisdom from the authors and from many others, including Einstein.
In their own words: "In a world as relative as the one we are speaking of, we have the responsibility to scan and hold fast to the most empowering version of the truth that we can discern at any given moment." This is that book, and I recommend it to anyone.
(The only reason it didn't get the full amount of stars is due to the fact that I, having much experience in similar concepts, and this being a more powerful addition to what I was already doing in visualization, magic, and positive manifestation, adopted the process early on, and therefore a lot of it was repetitive, or unnecessary explanation for me, but it's a jumping-off point for many, and for you, it could be completely perfect. I highly recommend it!)
One of the best books on the Law of Attraction that I've read in the last few years. This book takes the idea that what you want to manifest has already happened and gives real-life examples of how to use "The Remembering Process." I appreciate that the authors emphasize the importance of taking action, not just visualizing the outcome.
I remember less than 21 days after reading this book, the funds arrived in an exciting and inspiring way which enabled me to purchase these wonderful buildings and turn them into our wellbeing centre. I always knew that this was going to happen but the speed and ease has surprised and delighted me.
A short, simple, straightforward book on "the remembering process," a creativity and planning tool for reverse engineering your success by "remembering" how it all worked and where you ended up as your future self.
I can safely say that I have never been exposed to a concept like this in all my reading. The Remembering Process, by Daniel Barrett and Joe Vitale is such an interesting concept, and yet its such a simple twist on an already brilliant idea. They speak about the ‘Law of Allowing,‘ and how it is should be a flow of energy and not a tense held energy of want and need. Daniel Barrett and Joe Vitale’s way of explaining and introducing the concept is fun and innovative. This book teaches how to surpass the subconscious mind and act as if it has already happened.
I found myself having a lot of “Aha,” moments while reading this book. It makes the connection between wanting something so badly, to trying to put a thread through a needle. the harder you try the more “unnatural” energy you are using and the harder it is to achieve. There was an ease to this book, a letting go and relaxing, the allowing of dreams to manifest and to come into the present time.
The Remembering Process discussed largely Einstein's theory of relativity. The theory that there is no real time and that everything is happening at one time. There is no such thing as past or future. If you believe this concept or not, The Remembering Process will still work!
Throughout the book they give many examples of how you can incorporate this practice into your everyday life. Whether you want to write about it, talk about it, or simply meditate on it there is something for everyone. They also give websites where you can get more information on topics they were discussing. Its an exciting new energetic way of thinking.
Towards the end of the book, The Remembering Process, they go over when NOT to use it. It discusses the importance of the balance of physical and metaphysical. The remembering process will work on writing a book, but you cannot use it to surpass washing the dishes. It is a funny way of saying, be reasonable when you use it. It is good for some things, not for all things. They close the book with examples from other people and readers that have used this technique so the reader can apply anyway they like.
I would recommend this book for anyone on there path to enlightenment and alignment. It is sister to the law of attraction and goes one step further into allowing things to come into fruition. It was a fun and inspiring read that is suitable for all.
I acknowledge that I received this book from Hay House free of charge in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion of the book.
This book is a breakthrough in creativity and has implications for quantum realities.
If you've read the book, you'll know that I'm quoting Dr. Joe Vitale, but you'll also know that he was quoting me! Awesome, huh? Dr. Joe remembered me saying this in my review! And that is an example of the power of this Remembering Process!
Need I say more? Get yourself a copy of this book. I am a huge Neville Goddard fan, and this Remembering Process is the closest thing I've seen to what he taught, because it puts you on the other side of your desire, it puts you in the place of having, and not wanting. As Neville said, "The end of yearning, is to be."
*FTC Disclosure: I received this book free from HayHouse in exchange for my review. The opinions in this review are my own.
I feel bad giving this book 3 stars because I did enjoy the ideas it presented, and its enthusiasm was contagious! I just think this book could have been a tighter, more concise article. The time it spent going into the New Age beliefs behind the Law of Attraction that remembering invokes weakened the impact for me.
But the actual meat of the process - remembering your success as a creative exercise rather than hazily forming half-baked goals - resonated with me and is definitely something I will put into practice.
Finished in a day. Easy, short read. Love the references to Neville Goddard, but this book contains some limiting beliefs I'm not sure Goddard would approve of.
