Revising my previous review I felt it appropriate to add more comments and a better review.
Starting where the previous book ended, Iroha is the one making the steps away from Aki and Mashiro. She saw something that was almost heartbreaking as her crush was with his fake girlfriend displaying PDA that made her upset but more than that Iroha heard something that made her think he wanted to move on from her or wanted to push her away. This book focuses on Iroha coming to terms with her feelings for Aki while attempting to also understand how he feels about other female characters by playing their roles. I won't go in too much depth as I don't want to spoil the story for anyone who's reading but let's just say Iroha has been drastically improving on her acting skills. A majority of this book focuses on the nevermore events but more so with Aki trying to do what's best for Iroha both personally and professionally. There are new characters introduced such as Sasara a pinstagram influencer, second best in class to Iroha. Her personality to me is funny and annoying which seems like a good fit for a friend to Iroha. If you have a chance check this book out via kindle or the physical form. As I moved on to the following book I can't help but be grateful for the author continuously improving the story and building connections while we approach our conclusion.

Akiteru is trying to find a friend for Iroha with whom she does not need to wear a mask with, but hat is proving to be a challenge especially since Iroha has been acting very strange lately. Then Akiteru turns down the chance to compete for king of Nevermore at the school festival but does enter the queen contest against Iroha. Mashiro then decided to enter the king of Nevermore contest and win so that she can have a dance with Akiteru! But the best laid plans of teenagers do go astray often! And boy did they this time! Iroha manages to make a possible true friend on her own, Akitero learns the virtue of skin care and Mashiro learns that bribing the judges might have been the route to take! Then talk about a cliff-hanger of an ending! More fun to come!
