I like this book Thomas Edison: A Brilliant Inventor because he worked on his special job and he made the electric light-bulb and he invented the talking doll which was important. Edison also experimented with the telegrapher invention and it was important because the phonograph sends messages throughout the United States of America. Edison wanted his workers to work hard, and to treat others respectfully.

Very good biography on Edison. Loved the illustrations that gave the book some humorous instances. I think this is great for giving children an inside look at one of histories most important people. Very easy for young children to understand which was nice and recommended for reading others in the time for kids series. Colorful pictures were an added bonus really helped in learning about the man.

This book is very easy to understand. It summarizes the life of Thomas Edison in a very compact space with very interesting language. In the middle of the book, there are pop questions and quick facts which make the book much better. I realised he made so many more inventions not just the light bulb.
*Spoiler Alert from below*
He invented the Phonograph, the first frame camera and many more.
It is pretty sad at last, all of america's light was dimmed for a minute as honor to a such great inventor.

This book is very informative. The book talks about Thomas Edison's life as a child and how he was always interested in making things. The story talks about all of Thomas Edison's inventions and has diagrams in the book showing students how the different inventions work. This book could be integrated into Social Studies and Science very easily. Highly recommend this book be placed in the library located in the classroom.

This book talks about the life of Thomas Edison from his childhood until his successful creation of a lightbulb that would last long enough and be cheap enough to provide light to every household in America. This book can be integrated into social studies by showing how inventors such as Edison changed the way people lived in the 20th and 21st centuries.

This biography has excellent illustrations and provides lots of interesting facts. This book would be perfect when introducing the creation of electricity and the light bulb. It also provides many historical events as well.
