Hey, this is supposed to be like in Jerry Maguire. Remember?
'You had me at hello.
Why are you smiling?" his wife asked, with a smile of her own.
"Because you're perfect."
"No, I'm not," she laughed. "But I'm perfect for you."

“Basically, you expect me to find your bride, court her, and hand her over at the altar. Or do I have to come on the honeymoon, too?”
“Definitely not.” He gave her a lazy smile.
“I can take care of that all by myself.”
‘He grinned, and right then it occurred to him that he hadn't enjoyed himself so much with a woman in a very long time. If Annabelle Granger were a few inches taller, a hell of a lot more sophisticated, better organized, less bossy, and more inclined to worship at his feet, she'd have made a perfect wife.’
... and right then it occurred to him that he hadn't enjoyed himself so much with a woman in a very long time.

Annabelle Granger has inherited her grandmother’s matchmaking service (previously specializing in senior citizens) and could really use some younger, high profile clients to establish the business under its new ownership. Enter Heath Champion, Chicago’s top sports agent, who gives Annabelle an interview only because the wife of one of his most lucrative clients happens to be Annabelle’s best friend. But Heath is also signed up with Portia Powers, Annabelle’s toughest competition in the matchmaking biz. Can Annabelle find the perfect woman for Heath? While managing to ignore the chemistry she feels with him?Well, meh. I’d been looking forward to this book for years, since Annabelle and Heath show up in every later Chicago Stars book, and I’ve been quite taken with them as a couple then. But this book just did not do it for me.
