Stud ranch is filled with campy fun. The concept of Stud Ranch is pretty amusing. A place where a woman's sexual fantasies are brought to reality by sexy young men is pretty hot. Julie is the latest visitor Stud Ranch to help her with her "bitchiness". It appears, Julie needs to get laid badly. At least, this is what her happily married friend "Ginger" recommends. Based on concept alone, the book is 3 stars.
The execution of the book is what brings it down to 2 stars. It was just okay for me. The first person narrative is not one I enjoy. In this instance it was okay and a times, mildly annoying. It was mildly annoying because the character, Julie, is annoying. Having her talk directly to the reader was campy at times. Julie's inner dialog gave her a shallow and rather bimbo type personality. The characters in this book didn't do it for me.
The sex in this book was okay. It was amusing and sweet at times. There were a couple of kinky acts which once again came across like a campy porno flick. Not sure if this was the intention of the author or not. Still, it was amusing. Overall, the book rating is a 2.5. Recommended for erotic readers who enjoy a bit of corny dialog punctuated with puns and sex starved meandering.

What a premise a ranch just for women to go be pampered and live out their fantasies! This is the background to P.S. Love's Stud Ranch 2. Julie Jameson after being told she needs to stop being such a bitch all the time and being informed about the "Stud Ranch and Resort" She looks into it on the internet and books her trip.
Julie finds studs everywhere at the ranch and enjoys getting down with several of them.
Stud Ranch 2 is Erotia it is not romance and it is not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for a short sweet read that will get your juices flowing then this novella is for you. I found the novella being written in the first person distracting but that is a personal thing for me.

This addition of the Stud Ranch series was different from the first one as no permanent romance developed, just a hint of romantic interest. I found this more realistic. The character's thought process was just plain funny; erotic with a touch of humor is good. The erotic element was detailed and super HOT with all the hunky cowboys, especially Gus. The considerate sex that stretched Julie's limits without domination was interesting and good in a healthy attitude and consideration for her needs. This story is a little different but a refreshing breathe of HOT SEXY fresh air.

Really hot fun short read. The plot was great as per usual :) Lots of buff men to fulfill all your fantasies?? yes please. The only bit i wasnt keen on was some of julies thought processess. Sometimes they didnt seem to flow but apart from that a great read. Id definately recommend it
