He had seen it with his own eyes, heard the awful screams, but nobody believed him. Is Mike Peterson losing his mind? The doctors certainly think so, and Mike is confined to a psychiatric unit. Three years later, life has changed irrevocably for the Peterson family. The children will never forgive their father for shattering the family, his wife has built herself a successful career. But now Mike is coming home....

This story has a good plot line. It's a twist filled read that's also quite dark. We get quite a few murders along the way. I felt quite sorry for Mike, nothing was the same for him after he was released from the psychiatric unit. Who was committing the murders? Well, it could have been anyone of the characters. I quite enjoyed this well-written and entirely different book by J.T. Brindle (Josephine Cox).

The book is very chaotic written. The synopsis at the back isn’t the story at all. Yes there is a situation with people who are taken into the sky. But the book is more like a dark romance with a little spice. That’s why I gave it just 2 stars.
