Part Two Description: Jack and his trusted associate Ted, immediately get sent to Hong Kong on short notice to handle a client that has expressed deep dissatisfaction with the genetic engineering software they were given by Jack & Ted's company. While in Hong Kong, Jack finds keeping his identity a secret terribly difficult and must take on extreme measures just to survive. As we come to find out more in part two, we begin to see that Jack's trip is anything but just business.
With Episode 2 of this series the Author really gets the story rolling. When Jack arrives in Hong Kong with Ted, he has no idea that his life is about to take a turn for the worse. Traveling as a vampire to another time zone is hard in itself and Jack finds himself at the mercy of humans for the first time in a long time. When he does research into the client he is here to help things just don't add up. Rald his boss is being evasive and his coworkers Alan and Rebecca just seem a bit off. The plot thickens as Jack is visited by a young boy who is warning him away from his future meeting with the client. But Jack is forced to attend even though it is day light... now he finds out what the real agenda is and how his biggest secret wasn't a secret after all. Strong character development and a definite story line twist takes place. Not your average vampire thriller! Can't wait for 3!
These stories are short, very short. Interesting. I know our country and the world seems to be struggling in the marketplace and monetarily, but I could have done w/o some of the narrative about it. Just saying. I'm reading about vampires. It's very light reading and just as it gets interesting it ends and you are on to the next entry. He could be anyone, except for the occasional need for blood.
