#4 in the Doctor's Orders series, this is the passionate conclusion to the bestselling BDSM erotic romance!

Claire must brave the Doctor's darker side to discover what happened to his long-dead wife. And if she wants him, she must prove her devotion to him -- by putting herself up for public auction. But will the Doctor claim what's his?

This is a 20,000 word novella concluding the Doctor's Orders series. It's a BDSM fantasy intended for mature readers -- it's got sex, romance, a wounded Dom in need of redemption, a submissive woman put on display, and an HEA.

I have an overactive imagination and too much time on my hands, and the result is...well, lots of books! Which is probably better than the alternative. ;)

I love writing steamy and erotic romances, some dark, some light, but always about something that moves me. And, because I'm totally a sucker, love tends to win out. Everyone deserves a happy ending. :)

My contemporary BDSM erotic romance series, Club Volare, has hit the genre bestseller charts on Amazon a few times, which is just awesome. Right now there are two books, Sold to the Sheikh and Tied to the Tycoon, with a third, Disciplined by the Dom, due in February 2013. And I've also got this paranormal series in the very beginning stages of development that I'm super excited about. When I'm not writing those, I'm gonna be reading -- if you've got any good recs, send them my way!

And if you want to hear about those new releases when they come out, you can sign up for my New Releases list here (I *only* use it for that; I hate spam so much!).

Lots of love, and happy reading!!
x Chloe

All 4 books are really short, not that it matters much, but 1 and 2 had no plot in them at all just the reference of Claire and The Doctor, which is anything but a Doctor as the main characters. Better to think of them as one book with four chapters.

My problem with them was that neither character was developed.

She received a weird invitation and didn’t question who or why it was sent. Then she submits to anything “The Doctor” says because she didn’t want to let him down… Why??? She didn’t know the guy, she owns him nothing, but even weirder, she described herself as almost invisible and shy but then just 100 words later she let go on an orgasm for the record books watching The Doctor’s eyes but letting other man take her from behind while she can’t do a damn thing about it and all the while The Doctor keep repeating “trust”…. Yeah right!!! Trust has to be earned and the first thing he says to her is her safe word with the threat that if she uses it that’s the end, no question, no discussion, just get out and never come back.

OK, I’m not going to continue because I’m afraid I’ll spoil the book for someone else. All in all if you want to read them, buy the complete series, since you need to read the 4th book for it to have a semblance of story. Wished I would have done better research before investing my time with this. Not at all as Club Volare.

I got the first one Doctor's Exam (Doctor's Orders) as a free read and liked it so I decided to get the complete Doctor's Order by Chloe Cox. I really enjoyed each one but as a complete read, I loved it. It was a bit dark but sexy too.

This book is labeled EROTICA. Please do not read this review if you are not comfortable with this type of story.

Claire's life was unhappy and unfulfilling, then she starting seeing the Doctor. Her first appointment was chronicled in the story, The Exam (available on barnesandnoble.com for free). Her second appointment was chronicled in the story, Remote Control, and her third appointment was chronicled in the story Stripped. At the end of Stripped, there was no new appointment card.

As claimed starts, Claire is waiting, hoping for an appointment card to come, when she receives a card in the mail saying "I'm sorry". She is not happy. She is not ready to drop things, she is in love, and so she makes plans to see the Doctor on her own, and then she enlists Gerald's help to make him see that she is genuine.

Can there really be a happy ever after?

The concluding episode to the doctor series continues where the last left off, but this time Claire has to go after the doctor and persuade not only him but his best friend too that she is worthy of the doctors' affections. She decides to sell herself piece by piece in a public auction in front of the Arts Institute where she has applied for a scholarship.

Once again, this is well written by the author and proves to be an interesting and entertaining story, although the previous volume is in my opinion the best of the series.

Conclusion of this series of four. Quite enjoyable. Gerald's career was a surprise. Would I trust him??? Another will it, won't it happen situation and an erotic scene to hold your attention on Claire's attempt to get Dom Doctor Cedric Durant to see her as more of than just a patient to be helped and more a realistic partner, but with his past, and his first wife's death hanging over them all, it isn't a foregone conclusion at all. Decent standard of English and editing. Overall 3 stars but first two bordered on four stars for me.
I do like Chloe Cox stories and will read others by her.

Way too short with really nothing exciting.. I read the series and wasn't impressed:( I'm never one to rate any book with only 1 star but I just couldn't get too into it. Yes I read them all but that's just because once I start reading a book I can't just stop because I don't like it... I still want to see how it ends and if it gets better. But these series left me a little disappointed unfortunately :/
