Blind Date

Some people may think I'm anti-social, that I hide myself away. I have to. You see, I have this... effect on people. I don't want to hurt them so I stay away. But I'm lonely. My one friend in the world, Raine, has set me up on a blind date. I just hope I don't live to regret it.

This is a very short story - a ten minute read - and when I saw how tiny it was, I was dubious. Then I read the very well written prose, wondered what the catch was going to be and then laughed.

Blind Date is a witty, eloquent quick read that impressed me enough to make looke into other work by R K Moore.

This was a super cute little anecdotal mini-story about match-making at it's best. The suspense was held until the last line and I was left wanting more. Luckily there is freebie code for P.A.S.C.O, another RK Moore story so I'm off to Smashwords to collect before it expires :)
