Do you desire to be activated in the ministry of words of knowledge? Then this booklet will be a great resource for you!
Randy Clark will explain the seven most common ways on how to receive words of knowledge in regards to healing. He will also explain on how to give words of knowledge, the value of words of knowledge, and also a special section on how to give pastoral oversight to this gift. These are time-tested principles that Randy has learned over the years as he ministers around the world.
"Power evangelism is when supernatural activity (any gift of the Spirit) convinces people that God is present giving opportunity for the presentation of the Gospel. Through a demonstration of the Spirit's power, people who otherwise would not be drawn are drawn to faith (1 Corinthians 2:1-5). ~ Randy Clark, Words of Knowledge, Page 49, Paragraph 4.
This book highlights the gift of the Holy Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:8, KJV:
"For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;"
Randy Clark starts off in this book sharing how he was introduced to this gift and then shares how he learned the 7 different ways believers can receive words of knowledge. They being:
1. Feel it 2. Read it 3. See it 4. Think it 5. Say it 6. Dream it 7. Experience it
He then teaches on how to give a word of knowledge, the value of words of knowledge and the pastoral oversight of words of knowledge.
I encourage you to desire spiritual gifts (See 1 Corinthians 14:1).
A great book with lots of testimony of how to feel and hear and see God to heal and deliver the sons and daughters of God. And also unbelievers sometimes get healed and delivered first.
In this little book Randy Clark shares his insights in one of the gifts of the Spirit: the Word of Knowledge.
He describes 7 ways how this gift can manifest and gives examples he experienced in his own life.
Having seen my pastor operate in this gift many times, I have seen how powerful the Word of Knowledge can be. Randy shares in a down-to-earth, brotherly manner the doubts and struggles he had when he started out operating in this gift and lets you realize he has the same thoughts and struggles "lil-ol-me's" can have.
The author continues to give valuable advice in how to share a word of knowledge when God gives you one and how to position yourself to receive this gift.
A short and insightful read, written in a down-to-earth and enjoyable manner.
I enjoyed reading this book. It is packed full of information that will help you understand words of knowledge. I understand more of what to do and what to expect what comes to words of knowledge.
A very instructive read on how to rely on Words of Knowledge in the Church to here God's Voice. A reminder that we are One and a Body and need Everyone. I really liked his comment about his church having more Words than him and his wife's response, although I do not think that is what Elijah would have said. I particularly liked his comment on page 42 about blurring Words with the Prophetic. A reminder that the gifts are two and separate, though similar, which means I need to ask more about that distinction in prayer more. Sometimes we greatly desire the greater gifts out of Faith in the Bible without really Knowing what We are asking for.
