As Hell reins terror on the earth, can one child bring back humanity and defeat the Devil himself? After millions of people vanish and the dead rise to spread plague over the Earth, 23 year-old Evelyn and her brother join with a small group as they fight for survival. As the plague spreads and the number of the Reanimated rise in humans and animals alike, there isn’t anything man made that is strong enough to hold them off. When Evelyn and her group find one of the only children left on Earth—an Autistic child—the Devil begins lurking in the darkness, following their every move. The remaining children are the only chance the human race has at defying the plans the Anti-Christ holds. Of all the horrors the Earth now holds, none are comparable to how treacherous the living become once their humanity is thrown out the window. Evelyn realizes survival isn’t just fighting for your life but fighting for your humanity in a world of terror. Join the journey fight for survival against the undead and beasts released straight from the pits of Hell.

Growing up on an old dirt road in the middle of nowhere, as a child Candis used her love for books as a way to escape reality (and her brother constantly trying to kill her—literally). She blames her love of all things Horror on being born on Friday the 13th and will always find joy in scaring her friends.
You will find a little piece of her in every book she writes. She loves a good happy ending, but most of the time she prefers one she never saw coming.
When she’s not writing or reading, she can usually be found chasing her children around. She currently lives in Rome, Pennsylvania with her husband and three children. And her fat cat.

The following review is my opinion and not a paid review. I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Millions of people have disappeared off the face of the earth. No one actually knows where they went or what happen to them. The majority believe that God called them home to be with him. 23 year-old Evelyn and her brother Jason aka Jase are left behind to face the rising dead. The dead are rising out of their graves where it is possible, if they are strong enough.

Evelyn's family and friends have always thought that she was kind of crazy because she has always watched horror movies and TV shows all of her life. Evelyn had always believed that there could be some truth in horror movies and was prepared for any kind of disaster that may have arose. Well I guess no one thinks she is that crazy now with the zombies that are walking around. Evelyn was a great heroine one who knew how to fight and use a gun. She can take care of herself better than her brother and a lot of the others that join their group.

They all believe that all the children have disappeared until they reach one of the guys home in their group and they find his little girl is still alive. Evelyn falls for this little girl and vows to keep her alive even if it means her own life. They all wonder why this little girl is still alive. Is she the only child still alive? Can this child and other children if there is still any alive save the world from the plague that caused the dead to rise? Why did the dead rise up out of the ground?

I really liked what Evelyn thought about God, religion and the way the world sees and believes in things. I liked her POV of the whole situation about religion. There is a whole new twist on the zombies like how they became zombies and on the way or how humans could become a zombie. Candis Vargo has written a phenomenal story about zombies that will stay with me for a very long time. Eternal Revelations had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn't put it down until I was finished not that I wanted it to end. I wanted it to go on forever. I can't wait for the next book Eternal Hell and finding out more about Evelyn and the children.

Candis pens "Eternal Revelations" in a unique plot centering around humanity that depends on the children of the earth to save it. With interesting and well developed characters, the book kept my interesting from cover to cover and didn't let go. A must read for all mystery, horror, thriller fans.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Although a minor issue with couple of changes from 3rd person to 1st person caused me to re-read a couple of sections.
I found the character of Evelyn to be a very interesting person, and I a woman who is prepared for anything.
The other characters were also well described and contributed to the plot.
I'm looking forward to purchasing the next in the series once I get through Christmas and New year.
