Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was one of the foremost leaders of the Indian Freedom movement. He formed the Indian National Army to fight the British in India. This Asamiya translation of his biography presents in a simple and lucid language an authentic account of the life and struggle of the great leader.
Its not only about the Heroism of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose but also about the time he were in, at the Independence period. It is definitely more of Netaji's action and patriotism but also about his struggle behind the success he got via those actions towards the independence of INDIA from the British Rule. Be it his imprisonment, public whipping, death causing health and lot more like that, but nothing distract him from his goal of making India Independent. He went all the ways to get it done by all means. Very well explained was the efforts Netaji put in getting us this Independence that we're enjoying now without caring a bit, to be honest, for his and his counterpart's consistent efforts. Only if the known personalities like Gandhi & Nehru were not for their own benefits, we had been independent years back from 1947. If a Man can create an army for the sake of his Country by living and wandering in foreign countries; shouldn't left to be said that what he would have done if got the same level of favor in his own Birthplace. But the Rule-seekers like Gandhi and Nehru were adamant on what they find things going against them, to be avoided by no matter what. If Bose had already conveyed his intentions of making India Independent by the help of getting help from world powers of the then time then why he didn't get support from his own country, clearly have indications, because of only these two goons? Every step of his that he informed about, to Gandhi, was blocked by British Troops, HOW?That's a Big Question. Netaji has always been an inspiration for not only me but also for every sort of Youth who loves his country and doesn't want anyone to take hold of her and to stop any such thing by all means. Making countries like Germany(World Power in WWII), Italy(Allies to Germany), Japan(Asia's most powerful Country at the time of WWII; It was Empire of Japan) to stand with him in favor on India's Independence, where would have been our status in World history, is just a thought away.. There has always been respectable place of Netaji Bose in Our Hearts and it'll remain so forever. Salute to Such Legendary Personality, a True Patriot.
For me this work deserves 5.0/5.0 Note: I have Hindi Version of this Book.
Reading about Netaji from the eyes of a family member who lived a part of life with him was astonishing experience. Thanks to Sisir Bose to give us this piece of reading.
Most of the times author tried to explain what Netaji had done in his life. I was expect ing more which influence readers to follow his ideology. I didn't find points which strong attach to your heart. Presenting Netaji would have done better which should influence people to take Netaji's path.
