I am children's book author and published my first book ~ "Small Hangers" ~ in May 2012 via Rocket Science Productions.

Amy H. Fraher has written a sweet and heart warming story. Kids get to read about how parents really feel when there little ones are just not so little anymore. Parents will feel a connection to the book as well.

“Small Hangers” by Amy H. Fraher is something of an enigma; it is a childrens’ book written for parents. Not unlike the 1986 classic, “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch, “Small Hangers” is destined to draw out a veritable flood of tears from the aching hearts of parents as they realize their sweet baboo is growing up, and will be an adult sooner than they thought possible.
At our house, commencing not long after “Love You Forever” came out, we read that book to our two children nightly, but never could get through it without that bittersweet tug on the heart strings, and leaking eyes. We have since purchased a copy for our grandson upon the occasion of his birth. “Small Hangers” soon will join that book on our grandson’s bookshelf. I expect it will appear on many bookshelves across this land as quickly as people discover it.
If you are expecting to attend a baby shower anytime soon, or if you are the one who is “expecting”, you will not find a better, more appropriate or more appreciated gift than “Small Hangers” will be. It will be a big seller at Christmas time, but there is no need to wait until then to bless new parents with their own copy.
This book will never appear at a yard sale; people will cherish the memories associated with their copy for as long as they live. Some may pass it down to their grandchildren when the time comes, but they will never get rid of it. Even if your own children have long since flown from the nest, "Small Hangers" will rekindle fond memories of days gone by when you read it.
I encourage everybody, of any age, to get your copy now, before they sell out.

Cute story
Great story about a mother realizing that her children are growing up. The hangers that hold a child's clothes can't grow with the child so the children's clothes eventually need adult hangers. The sign of growth.
