Hayden is discouraged over her fledgling acting career, and Tracy, former TV star turned surf instructor, is second guessing the life choices that have left her single and lonely when they bond at their friends’ sumptuous getaway wedding in Spain. The connection that forms between them stuns them both, but is it strong enough to withstand some Hollywood drama?
The Stars Over Hollywood is a brief but lovely story about love, dreams, life decisions and, perhaps most importantly: self-discovery. Hayden’s journey of realizing and acknowledging her true identity is portrayed with sensitivity and authenticity, and the romance that builds between her and Tracy is sweet and a little steamy. The romantic settings, from the Spanish seashore to a starry California night, really serve to enhance the narrative.
Fans of the entire Hollywood Series will enjoy glimpses into the lives of past characters and will be equally delighted by this latest addition. However, this can also be read as a standalone book.
4 stars. This one was still good but was way too short. It’s less than a hundred pages and the ending was so abrupt. I feel like the romance between Tracy and Hayden had just gotten off the ground and then it ends. I just really wanted more. The characters were lovely and had great chemistry but this is definitely my least favorite in the series. It just needed more pages to flesh things out more. Not bad at all as I don't think Wyatt is capable of writing a bad book I just wish this was longer that's all.
You really need to read these books as a series and when you’ve finished you are left with a feeling that the collection is more than each individual novel. Each novel, although relatively short, is entertaining and a good read and the same characters pop up etc. I would have liked them to be a bit longer but it is great that we get to see the first couple’s -Ada and Sydney’s- love story end beautifully in book 4 with a wedding which also marks the starting point for Tracy and Hayden’s romance.
I really enjoyed this story. Had a wonderful coming out story tied in with what this author does best, age gap. My only "complaint" is I wish it had been longer! I seriously hope the author considers a follow up book so we can see more of Tracy and Hayden's love story!
Great story, gentle reading, lovely characters, steamy moments and low angst… perfect for the crazy world we are experiencing. Something light, loving and joyful.
I can't believe how good this is book was. It was beautifully written and very cathartic. I really love the characters, and the way they all get along is everything .
