My Fake Fiancé was a quick, fun, and easy read. There were laughter, tears, heartache, romance, love, family, and friends. I love the story. And the characters are great. They were easy to love.
Samantha Cooper, or Sam for short, is a hilarious, cute, fun, quirky heroine. Her problem is that she's afraid for her emotional well-being by going back and attending her frenemy's wedding. She got low self-esteem. But I couldn't blame her. She has been through many embarrassing moments during high school because of Carrie Lamont, and she doesn't want a repeat of that. So she decided that if she were going to the wedding, she would bring a fabulous date.
Justin Banks, a Matthew McConaughey look-a-like; he's hot, sweet, thoughtful, smart, likes dogs and cats, enjoys the little things, and a very loving brother and a good son. And with an accent to die for. sigh He's my perfect guy.
This story was absolutely adorable, even if it was just a short story. And I love that it is told from Sam and Justin's point of view. And since it was just a short story, their love story developed so fast.
I also enjoyed other characters except for Carrie. Haha! I love Justin's mom and Sam's friend Micki. They were very supportive.
I can't wait to read the rest of the stories in the Wedding Flirts! Collection.
