I have never been so glad to have the second book in a series available right after the first! I am so attached to these characters that I went directly from The Undead Heart to Blood Thirst without missing a beat! This second book is just as good if not better than first. I loved the relationship between the “family” and how it grew by leaps and bounds. I am freaking that I have to wait for the third book!!!
One of the best things about Ms Jackson’s writing is her realness. Her characters are so believable. They have tempers and feeling and doubts, it is AWESOME! When Beck and Richard fight you can feel there love and commitment even though they are disagreeing. All couples fight but it is the best ones that come out the other side stronger and that is what Ms Jackson has written.
Her storylines are incredibly developed and her descriptions of places, is so vivid that the book becomes a movie of the mind! LOVED IT! HOME RUN AGAIN FOR TATE JACKSON!!!! Hurry up July!!!

The second book was just as good as the first one. I loved all (well almost all) the characters
in the book as much as in the first one. The book had some sad parts, but also some humorous
and surprising parts that kept me wondering what was going to happen next.
I loved how the different characters had such a love for one another and stuck together no
matter what was going on. There were so many that again, all helped bring the whole story line
together. I am anxious to read the next book so this review is going to be short also.
I have to find out what is going to happen next. Again, if you like Vampire books, I think this
is a good series to read.

Bloodthirst was not a disappointment. By divulging additional information about her characters, Stephanie has made them seem increasingly real and endearing. Involvement with humans has added diversity, whilst the family itself has united, differences acknowledged and accepted. Imaginative and amusing, at times, some confrontations are quite intense and understandably violent, given the attributes of the combatants. And. I actually wanted to slap Beck, at the end, for being so foolish. Read it straight through, am impressed and can not wait for the next part.

I got this book from the author, free of cost in exchange of an honest review from my part. I'm glad that I got the opportunity of reviewing this great book. Thank you Stephanie Jackson!

The second book starts just where the first book left us with a heart-wrenching cliffhanger when the author left us with the fear as well as with keen longing and anticipation to guess which member or members were killed in the epic battle between Royal Elderson (the bad vamp, aka the villain) and Beck's family of vampires and hunters.

Well after we experienced the devastation of the twins as one of them dies and the other passes out with the shock (well later you'll know what the actual shock is all about) and Beck's family mourns for their dead family members and seeks Elderson for revenge.

This sequel is totally awesome and will answer all your doubts that you had in book 1. I thoroughly enjoyed it hope you guys will like it as well. The humor served with the deadly dark and emotional scenes along with the erotic romantic experience will leave you yearning for more.

The plot and story line is unique and the characters are 'just fab!'. The writing really impressed me a lot, no use of bombarding vocabulary but still it has got the essence of an enriched writing which really eases the reading of the readers.

In this series I got the cream of sensational romance, heart wrenching emotions and exciting suspense and anticipation which will drive you crazy and you will bite all your nails off for sure.

I was totally overwhelmed by this book and it really satisfied the expectations I had from it.

I don't want to ruin the element of surprise and the suspense and excitement of the readers who have approached this book already or are keen to give it a shot so I'm not adding any spoilers in my review. Hope ya all enjoy it as much as I did.

Blood Thirst is the second installment in the vampire trilogy of the same name by Stephanie “Tate” Jackson. As with the first book, The Undead Heart, there is time travel, vampires, and out of the blue, we have angels (possibly - and hopefully - tying this book to another one by Jackson, When Angels Fall). I think the series just keeps getting better and better, and I have book 3, The Wrath of Potter, queued up to read next.

In the author’s bio, I read that she wrote this book for her niece and uses her family members’ names and descriptions for some of the main characters. In addition, she lives in the location where the story is set. I think I enjoyed the book a little more just for this.

Blood Thirst is in no way a “stand alone” novel. You really must have read The Undead Heart to understand and enjoy this installment in the series. Most of our favorite characters return, although some experience some changes as book one ended after a battle and with a massive cliffhanger. But the non-stop action continues from where it left off and additional characters enter the story and liven things up (i.e., Wes, Ester.) Characters from the previous book return (i.e., Detection Eaton.)

I had problems following the dialogue in the first book but that was fixed in this one. The same issues with grammar, verb tense, spelling, and word usage continue, and still only needs the soothing touch of a good editor.

As with the previous book, this one ends even more abruptly and you’ll have to go on to book three to get closure to the story. (And I believe you’re going to want to do just that.) Blood Thirst definitely won me over to the series and this author. I will have to pursue the conclusion to the trilogy and invest in her other novels as well.

Beck and her family know that there will be battle between them and Elderson~it's just a question of when not if. Before the battle is over there are many losses on both sides none so harshly as the loss of one twin and Bruce. Sue is having a hard time accepting that Bruce is gone. Yet Beck knows that Bruce is still around in ghostly form. Richard is overly protective of Beck especially when Potter's brother Wesley(Wes) shows up unexpectedly. Wes's appearance throws a monkey wrench into the vampyres and hunters alike. They are waiting for Potter to tell them what to do about Wes. Potter absolutely wants nothing to do with Wes even though Beck tries to get their reunion going. Will Elderson be found? Will Beck and company stop Elderson? Will Potter make up with Wes? Will Wes accept this new life? Your answers await you in Blood Thirst.

This book is definitely vastly different from the first one. The events that follow in this book pick up where the first left off. I love these characters:Beck, Potter, Bruce, Richard, and Wes! These characters all have flaws and redeeming qualities that I very much admire. I thought the introduction of DJ and Wes really added to the cast of characters already in this interesting world. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book.

I am going to preface this review with the fact that I requested this book from the author and received the first three books in the series with a request for my honest review without any compensation whatsoever, other than the joy of reading a new series. The synopsis gives a good overview of the storyline and I will not attempt to improve upon it, or should say can't without spoilers. That being said this series definitely needs to be read in order to get the full benefit of the history of what brings us to the beginning of Blood Thirst. In this installment we are introduced a whole plethora of new and continuing characters that are absolutely wonderful. The writing is definitely improving and the storyline more complete with fewer plot holes and editing issues, which made me leap for joy. I will say that all of my questions from book one were not answered in this installment, but I did have a great time following this adventure. I laughed and cried and found myself emotionally involved, which is always a favorite goal of mine in reading a book. Once again this installment ends in an even more jaw dropping cliffhanger that left me thanking the powers that be and especially the author that book three was in the cue ready to read on my Kindle.

The second part in a three book series, this story picks right up where the last one left off, and it's a good thing. If you haven't read the first book turn back now! We left all of the characters fighting for their lives in at the end of the last book. In the first chapter we find out that they lost quite a few people in the battle. Bruce, who is the first book was the ghost Beck saw for most of her childhood is unfortunately just that again at least at the start of the book ;) I knew with the way the first book had twisted in and out of time that this story would have some interesting events, to say the least. But reincarnation, multiple personalities, unconditional love and the usual action makes this book even better than the first. I also like how they brought back one of the characters who was briefly in the first Beck timeline back to this one. He is a small character but I like Det. Eaton. Once again the story has one heck of a cliff hanger. I'm really glad the last book is out or I might have had to wait!

I received this in exchange for an honest review. LOP

I liked this book much better than the first book. In fact I Started at about 2am stayed up until 7 in the morning to finish. That is partially because I am a crazy person and really dont like having such little of the book left when I am not tired and could finish. I don't like that Beck is often careless but I do like that she and Richard took in the boys because in this book it really did feel like you were reading about a family that banded together and felt together. I think it was crazy for Ester to just immediately give over a patient to a stranger but that is neither here nor there. There were a lot of details and deciding to not expand on that is not that big of a deal. I can tell you that for Bev to be so new to the whole thing she is a firecracker. I loved that about her, she wasnt going to just sit around and allow herself to be helpless. Beck was this really good fighter but no one allowed her to do anything while Bev had no fighting skills and everyone was afraid of how crazy she was.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 unicorns - I loved it!

I loved this story just as much as the first one. It had more humor, time travel though not planned, the family of vampires and hunters, out of body experiences, archangels, demons, old family turning up with rekindled problems, new friends, all sorts of changing of species, love, and so much more. This book kept me guessing, but also laughing so much. The humor is this book reminds me of when I first started reading Shelly Laurenston. I love books that make me laugh, cry, fume, and wish for the love found is books like this. If you love paranormal romance, then you will love this story. Only thing not to love is the cliffhanger ending and having to wait for the next book.

First, I would like to thank Tate Jackson for this book for an honest review. As with the first book The Undead Heart, this book needs editing, grammar errors and spelling mistakes, not as many but still enough for it to be a problem for me. Again, as with the first book, I loved the story and characters. I really like what the author did with the twins and bruce, three characters I really like. I love Potter he is so funny at times, he had to deal with his brother coming and issues of being angry with him for so long, he was being pushed by others family members to deal with. The human DJ becomes a part of the family. I still am not really caring for the to be continues aspect of the books, but I love the story so much I cannot wait to read the next book. Fix the editing errors and this book would become a five star for me.

****Book provided by the author for R2R Reviews****

A bit run of the mill/quirky. Makes one wonder if all vamp books are the same. Smiles. Not a bad read just kinda the same ole same as far as story line. Again I find myself wanting to strangle Beck maybe it would wake up her brain cells.
I do love books that are in a series, though I hate cliff hangers that wont let the book stand alone. It had some time travel Im not big on the time travel that is my own lil quirk.
Ms Jackson did give the characters fullness(too much? I think its the readers individual preceptions). For me it was a bit all over the place. But good enough to enjoy and give 3 stars. I think im even looking for book 3 to see where the good vs evil.. Where the hunt for Elderson ends at or does it end. Enjoy.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal on Goodreads.com).

This book was so much fun to read! There are so many situations that arise that engage the reader's emotions. Often I laughed aloud, but there was also a great deal of suspense, and a few moments that brought a lump to my throat.

There are some grammar and punctuation issues. While I do find them irritating, the story is so enthralling that I find myself willing to overlook them.

There is some confusion for me regarding the angels that have somehow become bit players in the story. I suspect that they are characters from other novels by the author and she's doing a little crossover here. It's not really working for me, and it's a plot point that I'm forgiving, rather than embracing.

I am glad it is over....I like to keep with my commitments and commited to reading the first 2 books of this series to review. The first one had me hating Beck and felling Richard was a punk #teampotter. This second one was better but once again there was never a climax. Just story. Now we have an angel that came from who knows where. It was just way too much and Beck did not make me like her any mmore. She was a little more calm but then Bev turns into this thug/lawyer. It has never taken me so long to read 250 pages. Everyone just gets bitten and turns human..then Oh ..I wanna be a vampire, no maybe a hunter...Ugh, it is the ADD of vampire books with no climax. What happens next...who cares..

In Blood Thirst (Book 2 of the series) there were also several spots where spelling & grammar needs to be corrected, but it was still easy to read through. However, I did love reading the sequel in this series and I think this series has a lot of potential to come! I actually thought this book was even better than the first book!! I really can't wait to read the next book! The plot is from a unique perspective & I absolutely love the characters. I look forward to more to come!

I was given this book to write an honest review.
After reading book 1 I wasn't expecting book 2 to be as good OMG was l wrong. l loved this book!
The book explored the characters and showed the depth of the group dynamics.
I found these books original and unique in there plot. This book kept me gripped, It introduced new characters and made me fall that little bit more in love with the original characters. Beck is just as funny as in book one! That girl is great lol Richard Still has my heart along with Potter.
The only downfall was the ending!! What on earth was the author thinking ending it like that . I feel like giving her a shake! ha ha not really. Fantastic read! Book 3 here I come.

What can I say but that the second book was just as good as the first one in this series. As with the first one I did not want this book to end. I will be reading this book again! Tate makes you feel like you are part of Beck's family and you will find yourself laughing and crying right along with the whole family. As with the first book I loved the locations in the book since I live so close to them. The only thing I do not like about this book is that it ended too soon. I will be on pins and needles waiting for book 3. Tate leaves you wanting more and more! I give this book 5 stars.

Blood Thirst (#2 in The Blood Thirst Series)
Just as good, if not better, than the first book, The Undead Heart. This book continues to bring more of the emotional roller coaster this series lured me in with. The journey continues with Beck's family growing in such amazing and surprising ways.It also continues with strong family values that bring each character such real life lovable qualities.
This book had me on the biting my nails so many times and reaching for kleenex at others. Then screaming at the end ... I have to wait until July for the 3rd book, lol.
I have been recommending these books to everyone who loves to read.

I want to start off by saying I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in the series and for me it was not as good as the first one. I felt like the pace was way too slow for this genre and I just became disinterested in the story. When the pace finally picked up the book ended and it left me feeling quite frustrated. I also felt that Beck became annoying in this book - I mean I wanted to scream at her to leave Potter alone about Wes. However, in the end it did work out, I guess.

I would recommend this book to those who like the first book though because you need to know what happens next.

Was given this book in exchange for an honest review...

Much better than the first. Unlike the first book it did not take me weeks to finish it. I actually liked it and looked fwd to reading when I got home from work. The characters were more developed, and I didn't mind the other things going on in the story. Instead of disliking Beck, I found myself rolling my eyes at Bev this time. I didn't like NOT hearing about Elderson until the very end though and I wish there was more on him being as though he is the main issue in the overall story. I especially didn't like the cliff hanger.

However, I will say, I am looking forward to reading book 3.

First of all I loved this book, maybe not as much as the first one as I really did love the whole travelling back in time to find out about Jack the Ripper where there was not so much of this in the second. You've just got to love the banter between Beck and Potter and Richard, when they aren't beating each other up that is, so funny.

But got to say I am really loving this series as it's the kind of books that you can't put down. I was so glad that I could go straight onto to the next one but how I'm going to wait till book 3 I don't know!!

Blood Thirst is the 2nd book in Stephanie Jackson's Blood Thirst Series and I have to say that I loved it. It was even better than The Undead Heart. You get to meet some new character'sin this book, including Wes (I won't tell you who that is, because I don't want to spoil it for you. This is another Stephanie Jackson book that I highly recommend.

You know. I didn't give this series a fair shot. At all. I read one line and decided that I didn't want to read it. I went back to them though, and I gave them a fair shot, and I have to say that I really enjoyed reading them. I loved the fact that this book was able to make me laugh out lough, and had my husband saying to me, "What is so funny?"

I can't wait for the next book in this series. And this has definitely made me think twice about not giving a book a fair shot.

I really enjoyed this book. The series is great and exciting. The first book was good but I believe this book is better.
Can't wait to read what happens next!
This book was definitely intense and I have grown very fond of the characters. There is so much drama and action in this book and very little downtime which is good because it helps keep the book fast paced.
I also like how this book features strong women.
A great read, I recommend it.

This book picked up right where book one left off. I think I liked this, the second in the series, a bit more than the first. Great plot with a fast pace, but with with lots of detail and great flow. This book needs a lot of editing for spelling and grammatical errors. That's the only reason I didn't give this book five stars. Now I'm off to read the last book, I can't wait to see what happens! I received this book for free for my honest review.

Richard is still trying to save Beck from Elderson. The Young/Jaxon families have a battle with his vampire clan but Elderson escapes. Will they be able to finally rid the world of Elderson?

This was another good read but this book needs editing. Wrong words are used, e.g. mid-drift for midriff. If you can overlook the grammatical errors, it is a very good read.
