this is a really quick read that gives the basic framework for carerra's program (adolescent pregnancy prevention, part of the children's aid society). i know him through a connection of my moms and i met with him the other day and im really glad i had read this beforehand. i agree with every word in this book in terms of what teens need in order to respect themselves and make healthy decisions- respect and love and support and trust from stable adults.

A must read for those working with teens. It may be harder to find, but its worth the search to have this on your teen worker bookshelf.

This is a great book. I am so blessed to have read it. It has helped me and my team rethink our approach of working with teens and adolescents with incarcerated parents in Uganda
