Shakespeare's Scottish story of witchcraft and murder is probably one of his darkest works. Macbeth's bloody rise to power is encouraged by his wife, Lady Macbeth. Like her husband, Lady Macbeth's ambition leads her into a dark world of guilt and madness which slowly destroys their marriage, and ends in tragedy.

At first I thought that this book was about magic, but no, actually it's not. This book is about every person who would do anything to rule. Kill, die, lie.. anything. The book tells the story of Macbeth who becomes one of those people who only care about the crown and not what he'd have to do to get it. Many people died in this book, but no one seemed to care about them, which kinda sucked, but then again, maybe it's because it's a play and you can't really know about the characters' emotions in plays as you can in novels. Mostly it was also about courage, and how important it is for a man to be brave. I liked it. Its setences were strong, as expected.
It is interesting to see that people who see or hear their future. Can they get a good future? Can they avoid a bad future? Is a good future really good the way they think?
Is this what my course will be about? I mean, it was enjoyable and a super easy-reading play but... Never mind. I know that if I've read it on my own I'd have enjoyed it more but it wasn't the case.
