I left the service to go into pediatric hospice nursing and grief counseling, eventually working as a marriage and family therapist for those involved in alternative lifestyle development. This experience has allowed me to gain unique inspiration for my books and provide realistic plots and relatable characters.
My first book, The Game Plan, was published in 2012 and opened the door to the now-booming world of Age-Play literature. Since that time, I’ve devoted my ‘spare’ time to writing, researching, community involvement, and private and group pro bono counseling in deviant behavior, alternative lifestyle, and addiction recovery.
I was formally ‘dungeon trained’ as a Domme before discovering my submissive side when I joined the service. My scenarios are pulled primarily from either personal experience or observation, including spending time in clubs as the safety/medical officer. My multi-faceted background allows me to glean from many avenues and provides a unique and intelligent literary experience through elements of fantasy and fiction. I also address the questions and psychology of the lifestyle in a manner that is fun and informative, and based on 'the real deal'.
I live with my husband, musician, and fellow-author, John Hayse, and two border collies in southern California. We practice a 24/7 D&S relationship with speckles of AP (and many trips to Build-A-Bear), and happily spend every moment together that we can. My hobbies include my puppies, hiding my vanilla salt-water taffy where John can't find it, exotic art, collecting inspirational trinkets, and developing my own paddle line. Ok, I am fairly new to this age play genre.. This one I didn't feel as though it was about the age play & more about Preston being obeyed without question? It was more (to me) like a D/s book with Preston liking being called Daddy? Having said that I did enjoy it & don't get me wrong Serena was a brat of the 1st order & did deserve a little OTK action.. As I already said I'm new to this genre & this was my 1st Breanna Hayes book but I know it won't be my last

I normally LOVE Breanna Hayse but this one just didn't do it for me.
It just felt like every interaction between Preston and Serendipity was forced. His reasoning for the rules and the things he said and did not seem genuine. He kept saying no sex after a punishment or when she was in little mode but then he would do it anyway. I would think that would just mess with her head. As for her, she just wasn't a likable person. She wasn't cute bratty she was just annoying bratty.
All of that being said there were a couple of interesting scenes and even though I didn't love it, I didn't have trouble finishing it.

Serena is a brat and from the moment she crosses Preston's path they seem to be on a collision course. I really like how Preston was patient and caring without being patronizing. He really cared about giving people a chance and a true respect for women and their talent. This story finds a great balance between adult love and feeding the needy inner child. Preston shows that you can be in charge without being overbearing and rewards effort without expecting perfection. Very sweet romance.

This is a work of comedic brilliance! Breanna Hayse shows her quick wit and imaginative use of little known words here. I laughed and shared so many of the insults with my hubby, we both loved it.
I honestly didn't like Serena at first. She was in desperate need of a spanking and the wonderful Preston was just the man for the job. Usually, I cringe when a girl gets put over a knee, here I was cheering him on.
Don't miss this book, you'll lose out on a real treat!!

I love this author because not only does she incorperate ageplay into the story but you see how their romance starts from the rocky beginning to the ultimate trust she puts in him. Serendipity definitly likes to push her limits and push Prestons buttons with some great results for the reader!

I apparently do not like bratty subs very much.

For me it was only a 3.5 so had to go to 4 stars. Didn't actually read as ageplay to me more an alpha-male being domineering over a brat.
