The School Bully

Rate this book
The day Anna Fowler graduated from Bridgestone Academy was the happiest of her life. Not only had she never been one of the popular kids, but her waif-like appearance made her the target of her spoiled and sometimes cruel peers, including the handsome ringleader Logan Chance. After graduation, Anna vowed to devote herself to building self-esteem in kids like her, so when she fulfills her dream of becoming a teacher she finds work in an inner city school where she feels she can make a difference teaching kids who weren't born with silver spoons in their mouths. But when her father unexpectedly dies, Anna finds herself back home, and back at Bridgestone - this time as a teacher. It's not where she wants to be, and when she discovers the new headmaster is no other than her old nemesis Logan Chance she is determined not to abide by the rules of the man she formerly regarded as the school bully. But Logan's life has taken its own twists and turns, and his personal experience has transformed him into a man with an appreciation for order, structure and discipline. He's not about to allow a young teacher with a personal vendetta ruin his vision for the school, not as long as the infamous Bridgestone paddle hangs on his office wall.Book 5 chapters / 16,000 This story contains adult-to-adult spanking as discipline. I sent my sister a link about the book the School Bully on Dreame. Then I read this one. And what a disappointment. I gave 1 🌟 when I would have preferred none. I was ok until the fourth chapter. I would have liked it better if Lana didn't go all mushy for Logan's sappy story. I think he got what he deserved. From there romance will evidently blossom. I was kind of hoping she endured the abuse and get out after her contract. But authors nowadays don't write about pride, preservation, and human dignity. Some of these DD these days just appear to be about physical abuse, and abuse of authority. Glad my friend send me the book instead of buying it.
The School Bully on Dreame is a treasure. You should try it. It's the best I have read on the title.

I enjoyed reading about the heroines past, especially the bullying.
What I found disappointing was that there was no build up to their relationship, they just got together in the last 15% of the story. I felt it was rushed.
Other than the mention of her childhood, the plot consisted of her growing up and overcoming her, teaching at a new school, looking after her grieving mother, dealing with a troubled student, defying the hero’s school rules and getting paddled.
Overall, I thought this book was a good read but way too short.

What's worse then coming back and facing the ghosts that were your high school years. Having to do that when your worst enemy turns out to be the guy in charge. The story is good but I felt the ending was just a bit rushed not sure I could forgive and forget quite that fast.

A combination of feistiness and discipline

This a story, of a bullied student who went on to be a teacher. When tragedy struck, she had to teach where it all began. To make matters worse, she has to confront her nemesis...
