The last thing Norah needs is to be attracted to anyone – especially in her deceased fiancé's parents' home. Collin’s starting a new career, and has no business getting involved – especially while staying with his roommate’s family, who very kindly offered to take him in for the holidays. Unfortunately, you just don’t always pick the most convenient time and place to fall for someone.
Six Days of Christmas by Kaylee Baldwin
When Natalie goes home with her best friend for Christmas, she expects plenty of quiet time to work on a winning ad so she can turn her dream internship into her dream job. Instead, she gets time-consuming Christmas festivities, a house full of children, and Jimmy, her best friend’s brother - someone who makes her question everything she’s always thought she wanted.
Twist of Fate by Rachael Anderson
When a postcard meant for Kenzie winds up in Ty's mailbox, Ty's faced with a decision. Should he tell her that her fiancé is breaking up with her and let it ruin her favorite holiday, or should he do what he’s wanted to do since he met her - make a move and hope that he can win her over before she discovers there won’t be a wedding after all.

Loved it! Of course how could I not with it being written by 3 amazing authors! If you want to get in the Christmas spirit and enjoy clean romance then give these books a try :)
I absolutely loved this book when I first read it last year and decided that it was definitely going to be a re-read for me each Christmas. Having just finished it again, I was struck by how much I really enjoyed the stories and at how little I remembered from last year. It was like reading them for the first time all over again.
Pretty Near Perfect--Norah decides to spend Christmas with her deceased fiance's parents. She doesn't realize that falling for someone can happen when you least expect it.
I liked Norah and thought she had such a fun personality. She really grieved for her fiance and was nervous about spending time with his family, especially his brother--they were so much alike. Yet she handles things really well. I loved how she was able to relate to Collin, especially with his writing. They really seemed to understand one another.
Six Days of Christmas--Norah goes home with her best friend for Christmas and discovers that time can really change things.
I loved the traditions this family had in going all out and celebrating different world holiday customs. I loved watching Norah relax and really find the Christmas spirit and of course, sometimes love is right under your nose.
Twist of Fate--Tyler McKenzie and MacKenzie Tyler met in an unusual way and became best friends...until Tyler is faced with a big decision.
I loved how well these two knew each other and how they tried their best to put the other person first. Love based on friendship is the best and I enjoyed feeling the relationship bloom.
It's so hard to pick a favorite--they were all darling and CLEAN!!
(12/12)I loved all three of these holiday stories!! They were each unique (of course--how could they not be with three different authors contributing?), fun, and romantic (clean). Just the thing to put you in the Christmas mood.
Nothing makes me sigh quite as happily the way a sweet romance does and this book has three of them. While shorter than I normally like, I really enjoyed all three. In the first story, Norah meets Collin at the house of her dead fiance's family, talk about awkward. It becomes even more so when Collin seems to return her feelings. I enjoyed the way the characters really connected but still referred to the relationship as just a beginning. That seems more realistic to me than the whole 'love at first sight' stuff. The second story revolves around Natalie who is trying to come up with an ad campaign that will hopefully win her her dream job. But between her boyfriend, Grant who offers her no listening ear or support whatsoever and Jimmy, her best friend's brother, who won't stop pestering her, she wonders if her dream is even possible. In this one I especially enjoyed the interactions between Jimmy and Natalie, they were sweet and funny. The last story focuses on Ty and Kenzie who live in the same apartment complex. When Ty gets a postcard for Kenzie involving her fiance breaking up with her, he decides to hold it until after Christmas. But his intentions aren't entirely noble, he wants a chance to see if given a choice, Kenzie will choose him over her fiance. In this one I enjoyed the way Ty was, in most ways, a good friend who offered Kenzie love and support. All of the stories had a nice amount of romance with a decent amount of depth. While there were a number of editorial errors, I found them easy to overlook in the enjoyment of the stories.
Novellas are very different reading for to me. I sometimes feel like the characters do not have as much time to grow and develop as they do in regular length novels. However, I do like how the stories are not drawn out and how the author can get right to the point. Fortunately, the cute romances in the All I Want collection fall into the latter category. Each of the stories had distinct characters and their stories felt complete.
Another positive feature of having separate short stories is that you can get a number of different perspectives from each of the authors. I especially enjoyed the unique voices of each author in All I Want and how each of the stories was so different.
All I Want was also unique in that it was a compilation of Christmas themed stories. Christmas is such a romantic holiday and I feel like each of these sweet stories captured that feeling. The "Six Days of Christmas" especially seemed to portray that magical holiday sentiment with the special holiday traditions that Natalie and Jimmy were able to participate in.
My favorite romance of the three stories was between Natalie and Jimmy in the "Six Days of Christmas" story. I love relationships that begin with friendships, especially ones that are "long lost". I also liked the playful nature of their relationship and how Jimmy seemed to bring out Natalie's fun side. The other romances were sweet as well but this one was definitely my favorite.
Overall, All I Want is a perfect collection of short stories for this magical and romantic time of year!
I was so excited when I found out about this book. Three great romance writers all wrapped up into one book. I've been looking forward to reading it since I signed on to be a part of this blog tour. I read this book over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was a perfect way to spend those last minutes of the day, curled up in bed, happy as can be.
If you are looking for a cozy Christmastime romance book you've got to pick this book up. I loved each one of the stories in this book. They were just perfect. There's nothing better than a holiday romance or two. Or three. :)
Four Stars: A light, fluffy feel good holiday read.
I admit I failed bringing you all holiday reviews. So I decided to squeeze in one Christmas book before the big day. I chose All I Want to be my warm and cozy book for the season. I picked it because I enjoy Jolene Perry's books. To my surprise, Ms. Perry's story was my least favorite of the three. Her tale: Pretty Near Perfect tells the story of Norah, a young lady just regaining her footing after the devastating death of her fiancé eight months ago. Last Christmas, she spent it with Jacob's family and they announced their engagement and made big plans for their future, only to have it torn away. Norah's returns to Jacob's parents' home for Christmas hoping to find closure and to enjoy his wonderful family for the holiday. Instead she gets more than she bargained for when she meets Elliot, a handsome professor and writer who is recovering from a miserable breakup. What I Liked: *I liked Norah's character, I especially admired her strength and determination to move forward and not mire in pity and wallow in the past. *I enjoyed the romance and how she manages to find happiness when she is least expecting it. *I appreciated the dual narrative between Norah and Elliot. I always like getting into each of the character's heads and seeing their thoughts and feelings for the same scenes. And The Not So Much: *My biggest complaint for this one was that the details of her former fiancé's death are glossed over. I wanted to know more about how Jacob died and especially to experience the emotions that Norah suffered during her grief so I could see how far she progressed. Jacob's death made a big impact on Norah and his family and I was really disappointed that it is only discussed in a few sentences and it doesn't really even explain how he died... was it a drowning or did he hit his head? *This story has a big dose of insta love. For all you insta love haters out there, you may not like this story. I found it to be nice, and liked that Norah and Elliot find each other after some difficulties in the past. *I didn't like that this romance took place at Norah's former fiancé's house. It made it feel kind of icky. I also didn't like that Norah didn't come to terms with Jacob's family, that was her goal in going there and instead she doesn't get the closure with them I was expecting.
Six Days of Christmas by Kaylee Baldwin Natalie is driven and determined to be successful. She is fine with her current relationship with Grant. He is a busy lawyer who has little time for romance and leisure. He is all about work. The two are content spending their evenings sitting side by side clacking away on their computers. That is until Christmas comes and Natalie ends up going home to spend the holidays with her best girlfriend,Janessa, from high school. What she doesn't expect is Jimmy... Janessa's little brother who was always tagging along and teasing her. Suddenly, she is racing around participating in wild Christmas traditions from around the world and possibly losing her heart.... What I Liked: *This was my favorite story of the three. It is a sweet little tale about finding romance in an unexpected place: a childhood friend. The romance in this one is so sweet and totally believable it just put a big smile on my face. *I really enjoyed the way Janessa's family participated in celebrating events from around the world. I liked learning some of the traditions for the Christmas holiday from other countries. *Jimmy is just adorable. He has grown up from the nerdy tag along, teasing little brother to a handsome, confident and super sweet man. He totally melted my heart. And The Not So Much: *The story line for this one is totally predictable, but it still made me smile. *The event at the ending was a bit sudden for my taste, but who cares it was a nice happily ever after ending.
Twist of Fate by Rachael Anderson Tyler Mckenzie and Mckenzie Tyler just happen to be upstairs/downstairs apartment neighbors who share reversed names. This means chaos for the mailman as he is always managing to mix up their mail. The pair have been shuffling each other's mail back and forth for the last year since a letter or two always ends up in the wrong box each week. Kenzie is engaged, but her fiancé is on a humanitarian mission in Africa. Tyler is recovering from a bad break up and has secretly fallen in love with Kenzie even though she is with someone else. Will the mail manage to bring the pair together? What I Liked: *This is another sweet feel good story about a pair of apartment dwellers who share the same names and on occasion each other's mail. *I liked that Tyler has unresolved issues with his mother that end up coming to a head in this story. I enjoyed watching him work through them. *The ending for this one was just perfect. And The Not So Much: *The whole concept of two people sharing the same reversed names and mixed up mail is a little hard to believe, but no matter it is fun. *I didn't like how Brad communicated his final feelings to Kenzie. It should have at least been a phone call.
Overall, All I Want was a quick, feel good read that definitely perked me up and put me in nice holiday mood, plus it introduced me to two new authors who I will be checking out. I enjoyed all three tales but found the first one to be a bit of a downer and the new blossoming romance happened in uncomfortable circumstances. The second story was my favorite with two old childhood igniting romantic sparks. Even though all three stories are predictable, finding the way to the happy endings is worth the journey. If you are in need of a light, fluffy, cozy holiday read, don't hesitate to pick this one up. You can get the ebook for $2.99 which also makes it nice on your pocket book as well. Happy Holidays!
Favorite Quotations: "It would be exhausting being someone or something you're not. I'm amazed people even try." "No one tells you when you're growing up that you'll never actually feel grown up." "Maybe." There's a moment of silence. "I miss falling asleep in someone's arms." "Does his touch give you butterflies? Do you dream about him when he's not with you? Do you miss him when he's not there, and you can't get close enough to him when he is? Does he accept you for who you are now instead of who he thinks you can be?" "Here and now is better than there and then. You're here. You're now. And you're so much better."
I purchased a copy of this book. All opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this review. Posted@Rainy Day Ramblings.
I felt a little silly reading a Christmas anthology in the middle of summer, but it was actually a lot of fun. I liked having a taste of Christmas in July. I’ve been a fan of Rachael Anderson’s books for a long time now and when I saw she was part of a holiday anthology I couldn’t wait to read it. When it came out I actually bought it and read her story with plans of reading the other two. I got distracted and Christmas came and went and I never finished. Then this Summer Book Trek came along and I thought it was a great opportunity to give this one another shot.
I really enjoyed the stories, I am becoming a fan of these anthologies and getting to read new authors. I think Rachael’s story is still my favorite, but I enjoyed the other two as well. I love Christmas and I loved that each story had a Christmas theme. Some holiday books have very little holiday stuff in them. That wasn’t the case here, each story had fun Christmas elements and even though it was 100 degrees out I wanted to curl up with a cup of hot cocoa to read.
Definitely one I would recommend for the holidays (or anytime).
I love Christmas romances. As soon as Thanksgiving is over I start looking forward to all of the holiday romance movies on the Hallmark channel. I know, but I can’t help myself.
I was so excited to take part in the All I Want blog tour. Three Christmas romances written by three authors whose past books I’ve read and loved? Count me in!
I read All I Want straight through. All three stories are enjoyable and well-written. It was fun reading and recognizing the style of each author. These women are talented storytellers and I appreciated the toe-curling yet clean romance in each story.
I loved each hero. I couldn’t begin to pick a favorite. I really liked the heroines, too. While Pretty Near Perfect, Six Days of Christmas, and Twist of Fate are all novellas, they were so well done that at the end of each I felt as if I’d read a full-length novel.
I highly recommend All I Want to anyone who enjoys a good romance. I am adding All I Want to my list of Favorite Christmas Reads, though I’m definitely not waiting until next Christmas to read them again.
I'll admit that I was a bit worried going into All I Want that the short stories might feel a bit rushed, but my worry was quickly tossed out the window. I found three fantastic short stories! While some of the romances came on quickly, they didn't feel rushed, and enough time was given to each of the stories for a satisfying, happy ending.
I already knew that Rachael Anderson could write a great story, but this was my first time reading stories by Jolene Perry and Kaylee Baldwin. If their other stories are anything like Pretty Near Perfect and Six Days of Christmas, I'm excited to read them.
If you are looking for some sweet, clean Christmas romances, don't miss All I Want.

I absolutely loved each of these stories. The only negative is they were too short, however since I was dying to see everyone get together maybe they were perfect! They were engaging and perfect for a chilly night with a cup of cocoa, the stories will warm you clear through.
I loved this book! It was perfect for this time of year! I'll have my review up on my blog on December 5th, when the blog tour for this book stops by. I'll also have a top ten list from author Jolene Perry!
I loved this book! My full review will be posted on my blog, December 9th, during the blog tour. It's a must read, by three amazing authors! Perfect for the holiday season.
This is a book with three distinct stories in it, written by three different authors, so I'll kind of talk a bit about each book individually.
First up, Pretty Near Perfect, by Jolene Perry. Norah feels like she's finally moving on after the death of her fiance, she's even been on a few dates. But his family has invited her to spend Christmas with them, in his old home, and she goes because she really has no one else to spend Christmas with. It's even more difficult than she thought it would be! She keeps remembering bits of the Christmas before, when she was newly engaged to Jacob, and she's even asked to stay in his old room, that hasn't been changed really at all since Jacob died. Things are looking a bit depressing, but then she meets Collin, friend and roommate to Jacob's brother Brady. Collin is amazing, she's falling more and more for him every second, but she's in her ex-fiance's house with his family, and Collin just broke up with his fiance, is there a way for them to be together without hurting Jacob's family in the process?
I LOVED this story. Norah was so cute, I loved the way that her personality comes through during the story. I loved the sweetness of her romance with Collin. I loved the way the whole story just felt like Christmas!
Next is Six Days of Christmas, by Kaylee Baldwin. Natalie is a work-a-holic intern at an ad agency. She has a life that she's happy with, a boyfriend that's just as driven as she is, but not very nice, and a best friend and roommate, Janessa who can't stand said boyfriend. It's Christmas time and Natalie is trying to win a full-time job with the ad agency by coming up with an award winning ad for....Magneto Blocks. She's not sure how that's going to happen because she was an only child and has never really been around kids, but she really wants the job, so she knows she has to try. Janessa talks Natalie into going home with her for Christmas, Natalie doesn't really want to, but her boyfriend plans on working through Christmas and she doesn't really want to be all alone. Her only stipulation is that she needs to have time to work. What she doesn't realize is that Janessa's new step-father has a Christmas tradition for the six days before Christmas. He and his family celebrate the way they would in six foreign countries and he expects everyone in the house to celebrate too. Things get even more complicated for Natalie when Janessa's younger brother, Jimmy, comes home for Christmas unexpectedly. Natalie finds herself looking at him in a way different way than she did when they were kids. But can Natalie give up the way that she's planned her life to go, or will she give in to her heart?
This story was so cute too! I loved the characters, I loved the Christmas traditions that I'd never heard of. It was filled with laughter and love. And I really enjoyed the ending!
Last, but certainly not least, is Twist of Fate by Rachael Anderson. Ty McKenzie and Mackenzie Tyler live in the same apartment building just one floor apart. Their names are really similar and that makes it pretty hard for the mailman to deliver the proper mail to the proper address. Ty would love to date Kenzie, she's everything he's ever wanted, but she's wearing the ring of her high school sweetheart, Brad, who's in Madagascar. Ty would love nothing more than to have him stay there... permanently, but he knows that Kenzie is looking forward to her wedding day almost as soon as he comes home. But when Ty gets a postcard meant for Kenzie from Brad, telling her he's met someone else and is not coming home, he has to make a decision. Ruin Kenzie's favorite holiday, or make her fall for him instead of her loser boyfriend. And thus begins the craziness of trying to make Kenzie love him, but will the whole plan backfire on Ty?
This was a cute story too! The romance was so sweet and fun! I loved the way Ty and Kenzie's names were, how clever! I liked seeing this story from both Ty and Kenzie's point of views. I also liked the forgiveness theme of the story as Ty learns to forgive his mom and move on from a hurt that happened before.
All in all you really want to read this book! It was written by three of my very favorite clean romance authors. These ladies all really know how to write an amazing love story!
This book is actually an anthology of three different stories by three different authors. I have read two of the author's other books and loved them both so I was pretty sure that I would really enjoy all of the stories.
The first story in the book, Pretty Near Perfect by Jolene Perry was the one I was looking forward to the most. Jolene is one of my favorite authors. I have enjoyed all of her books (I haven't read them all yet but I have read a good chunk of them) and when I knew she was going to have a short story in this one, it was the real reason why I wanted to be a part of the blog tour. I knew I had to read it.
I loved Norah and Collin's story. It was such a sweet story about second chances at love and letting go and moving on. I really enjoyed it. Once again Jolene manages to create a heartfelt read perfect for the holidays.
Kaylee Baldwin was the one author who I wasn't familiar with their work and her story Six Days of Christmas blew me away. I absolutely loved it.
I love the type of story it was, in fact the type where long term friendship turns into something more are always my favorite. I just adore them and Jimmy and Natty where fabulous characters. I will definitely be looking up her other work and buying it.
Twist of Fate by Rachel Anderson was also a really great read. I really loved Ty and Kenzie. Again, this is one of those stories about friendship turning into so much more and I just can't get enough of those types of reads. I just eat them up, especially around this time of year. Maybe it has something to do with my husband also being my best friend, I don't know but either way every single story in this book was fabulous.
In fact every time I thought I had a favorite story I would read another one and then that one would have me thinking it was my favorite. All of three of these were equally great.
I always love reading stories that have to do with love, forgiveness and just good holiday cheer around this time of year. There is just something so comforting and lovely about grabbing a good (clean) book, snuggling in front of the fireplace and reading something I know will put a smile on my face, maybe some tears in my eyes and leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart long after I have put the book down.
I love that this was one of those reads.
I give this one a very solid 4 Stars all the way around!
This is my favorite time of the year. While many people don't like the holidays I LOVE them. I love the baking, shopping and wrapping. I enjoy Christmas movies and cheesy holiday tunes. Most of all I love seasonal reads.
All I Want is one of these. It's three short stories from some wonderful writers. All three stories have the elements of love, hope and holiday magic. I'm a sucker for a cute love story and all three have this.
In Pretty Near Perfect by Jolene Perry Norah decides to spend the holiday with her dead fiance's family. While she has started to move on, his family hasn't. She starts to wonder if it was the right idea to go or not when she meets Collin. Collin is her fiance's brothers roommate. He helps her relaxed and they eventually fall for each other. They try to hold off on their feelings for respect of the family but sometimes the heart wants what it wants. Like all things though things get in the way.
In Six Days of Christmas by Kaylee Baldwin Natalie goes home for Christmas with her best friend in spite the fact she has a deadline to meet for work. When her best friends brother comes home he's not the "little" brother she remembered. Though she has a boyfriend, she starts the have feelings for her best friends brother. Who will she pick boyfriend whom she shares the same life goals as? Or the one guy who makes her laugh and makes her realize it's ok to enjoy life?
Twist of Fate by Rachael Anderson Sometimes you can't explain everything. Sometimes things are simply brought together by fate. That's what happens when Tyler McKenzie and McKenzie Taylor become neighbors and friends. Their mail always gets mixed up and in the process Ty gets Mckenzie's postcard from her fiancee...who's dumping her right before the wedding. So Ty decides not to tell McKenzie and ruin her fave holiday...Christmas. In the process both realize they have feeling for one another but can Mckenzie forgive Ty?
While all three are great I must say my faves were the first two. Both just really spoke to me. While they aren't connecting stories they all flow easily to one another. If you want a cute quick holiday read full of love then this one is for you. This is one holiday read that's so worth it.
I really enjoyed these stories! They were fun and easy to get into but also emotional at times. They all have happy endings and are perfect holiday reads!
Pretty Near Perfect by Jolene Perry
This was the most sad story of the bunch for me. Norah is visiting her deceased fiancé's parents' home for Christmas. She was almost getting over her grief and ready to move on until she has to sleep in his room again. But while there, she meets Colin. She doesn't want to make the family uncomfortable by them having to watch her move on, but Colin is a great guy and she is drawn to him.
--- "Yeah, I always thought stuff like this was for Hallmark movies or something." "A big Hallmark movie watcher, are you?" I tease.
Six Days of Christmas by Kaylee Baldwin
I enjoyed this one so much because when Natalie visits her friend Janessa's family for the holidays they do something unique by celebrating each day of the week by doing traditions of different countries around the world. This actually sounded like fun! LOL But Natalie is a workaholic and is desperately trying to come up with a great ad campaign to land her dream job. She left her other half who behind, who is also a workaholic, and is actually really letting loose and enjoying herself. A big part of that is because Janessa's little brother is home for the holidays and all grown up.
--- "My nakedness doesn't bother anyone. Janessa? Natty? I know Natty loves it. Boys at the U don't have bodies like this."
Twist of Fate by Rachael Anderson
Tyler McKenzie's apartment is directly below Mackenzie Tyler's. For the last year he has been accidentally getting her mail as well as falling in love with her. But Kenzie is engaged to guy away in Madagascar. When Ty gets a postcard from him breaking up with Kenzie, Ty makes it his mission to hide it so that Kenzie's holiday isn't ruined, and also to make Kenzie fall in love with him so that it doesn't break her heart.
--- "How, exactly, is making me help you turn your classroom into Whoville supposed to make me feel better? Right now I'm feeling more conned that comforted." "Grinch." "Cindy Lou Who," he shot back.

My heart craves stories of young love because it takes me back to my early romance days with my husband. That was 15 years ago and although our love is still strong there's just something about the beginning! And this was what these three love stories held ... the inception. The awe and tender moments. The experience of heartache before the warm fuzzies. Ah, good chick lits rock!
These authors know the love buttons. They created characters that were easy to connect with and although the outcomes were predictable, the journey getting there was da bomb! I didn't want the stories to end and yet it was satisfying enough. And you know what? I see myself reading this again and again (especially the last two stories) because it's a delightful way to get a quick dose of the fresh love warm fuzzies! I like those. I like those a lot! Much more so since these stories were set during the Christmas season ..an added heartwarming factor. Pretty sleek, authors, pretty sleek!
Just to give you another point of reference, this had the feel like that of the movie, Sweet Alabama, so if you like that movie then this book is for you!
**Ebook copy provided by authors through blog tour host in exchange for an honest review.
Did I enjoy this book: I did enjoy this book. The stories were each quick reads that left you with a happy, feel good feeling when you were finished. This was a great, fast read for the holidays.
Pretty Nearly Perfect was cute. I like it a lot. Norah was brave and strong and had such courage to go to her fiance's parents' home when it had to have been so tough for her. Collin was sweet and not so good with the spoken word despite being a talented writer.
Six Days of Christmas was a sweet story that made me smile. Natalie is the career-driven, by-the-book girl who doesn't do well with spontaneity. Grant is the same as Natalie, concerned about his career and professional life. Janessa, Natalie's best friend, can see what is happening with Natalie and Grant. Sometimes the best friend truly knows best. Jimmy, Janessa's little brother, has harbored a long-time crush on Natalie. He is the opposite of Natalie in that he takes chances and tries to have fun all of the time. He brings out a better side of Natalie.
Twist of Fate was my least favorite of the three stories but still a sweet story. I just didn't connect with the characters.
Would I recommend it: I would recommend this book.
Will I read it again: I may read this book again at future Christmases.
These three stories certainly hit the spot for me in terms of being romantic, Christmas-y, and heart-warming. Each one is set around the Christmas holiday, and in each story the characters get another chance of finding love if they are able to move past some current obstacles. In each of the stories the prose flowed beautifully, the characters seemed like real people with problems and concerns that I found easy to relate to. They are all sweet romances, but not super sugary or overly sentimental – which I personally appreciated.
My favorite story is Pretty Near Perfect, but the other two were also quite engaging, and fun to read, as well. I think all three authors are to be commended for their contribution because each story stands out well from the others while still blending with them superbly to create this romantic romp that is sure to make any reader feel warmer this season. Recommended for a quick little pick-me-up when the hustle and bustle of the holiday gets a tad overwhelming and a spirit re-charge is needed.
This book was given to me in return for my honest review. I received no additional compensation.
It is hard to rate a book that has three short stories by thee different authors. I thought the first two stories were fun and would rate them a 3. The third story was my favorite and I would rate it a 4. So, I gave the book overall a 3.
This was a super fun and sweet read. It includes three short romantic Christmas stories by three different authors. Perfect for a lazy winter night. Completely clean. Highly recommend!
All three of these stories were fun reads. I loved that I could read them quickly, and still get a full story out of it even though they were novellas. Great job, ladies!
One book, three couples, three stories, one holiday; usually when I buy a book, it is one story; this is the first time I've purchased three in one. But I liked it. I got this on kindle quite awhile back but just recently read it. Three short stories/novellas within 225 pages.
The titles and authors are as follows:
Pretty Near Perfect by Jolene Perry
Six Days of Christmas by Kaylee Baldwin and
Twist of Fate by Rachel Renee Anderson
Which of the three was my favorite? Well, when I read Pretty Near Perfect, I was disappointed when it ended. I wanted to read more about Norah and Collin's romance. It was basically an insta love story and I don't really care for those, but it was enjoyable reading....just way too short.
Then I read the second story and I really connected with it and enjoyed it. It involved a couple who was goal oriented and sought success above passion. It took Christmas with her best friend's family to open Natalie's eyes to what her priorities should have been and what love was really all about. I did love the characters in this one and the idea of six days of Christmas, celebrating a different nation on 5 days and honoring the tradition of those countries and then the sixth reserved for a US Christmas tradition.....quite unique and interesting.
Last of course, I read Twist of Fate and I enjoyed the storyline--friends who fall in love, despite the fact there were reasons they shouldn't...like a long distance engagement and an upcoming marriage. I was well satisfied by the characters, the conflict and the resolution.
But my favorite was Six Days of Christmas for depth and emotional appeal. None of the stories were disappointing in the fact all were enjoyable, but Natalie and Jimmy's story was believable and touching. I liked it the best.
It's fast paced and can easily be read in a day or one story a day. Definitely an enjoyable read!
